I tend to try and stay away from any of the movie threads. Something about them just turns otherwise seemingly reasonable people in other threads into assholes. I'm going to use that term cause that's what many start acting like in this threads. It happen on gaf and it happens here. You can see some trying it in the Titans threads many weren't biting this time around. I doubt they'll show up in the OT for the show when it starts airing as well save for the first episode with the odd person sticking around for hot takes.

Renee Montoya being older isn't all that shocking considering it's present day. If we're sticking with the actor's age, Gordon is in his 60s.
Now that I mentioned Gordon, have to wonder if he has a cameo in this, assuming Renee is working for the GCPD.

Yeah that date didn't make a lot of sense for the show to release. It could be the day the drop a trailer though.
I want everyone to take a good look at that thread and tell me to my face that there isn't a serious bias against everything DC related. There's your proof, folks.
It's is kinda funny tho, Collider is the only genuinely negative so far. It's obviously a flawed show, but most agree on that it starts okayish with great potential, and that improves with each episode.

I don't get me wrong. I understand DC doesn't have a lot of goodwill right now. However, I feel like folks should either be willing to give them a chance, or just accept you're not interested in the brand atm and move on. Cause all this other shit is corny.
This show would be a skip from me but since it's on Netflix I am going to watch it, whatever.

I think most are jazzed because early reactions were painted by that one review which led to the same old " DC can't do anything right" meme. I'm not mad myself but I can understand why some would be pissed.

It was the same on GAF. I still remember the Wonder Woman thread where some "insider" said it was a complete disaster.
Not really even pissed. Just kind of annoyed. As nice as this thread is, I think most would like to talk about things with the larger community. But when so many threads are colored by the same shitposting, it gets exhausting.
If all the reviews were actually negative, folks would have just been like "Welp" and moved on. The show didn't have a ton of positive buzz even in this thread. It was just the way that OT thread was set up that was wack.
If someone made a poll of what they are fans of, it would be massively in favor of Marvel. I'm talking 150 to 35. So a lot of it is biased to that because it has the most fans. I don't take any OT comic movie/show serious because I know you get the drive by....DCEUAMIRITEGUYZ posts. If I want discussion I come here.
As a poster, and not a mod, it is fascinating to see the people who showed up on page 1 and never again.
