What shop sends games for 9€ from UK to Germany? Even amazon UK charges around 4€ and they are quick enough. For 9€, Amazon would ship you a console or a big LE. Even priority shipping (game) is cheaper.)
The prices retailers charge you aren't necessarily actual shipping costs. Companies with cheaper shipping are often doing it at a loss. Like Amazon has free shipping, when shipping clearly isn't free.

Another easy thing to remember is the biggest retailer in the entire world, can do WAY more than just a tiny company with only several people running it. There's.... going to be a difference in prices.

Out of curiosity, how long will a package take to arrive in Europe approx? I got a email with tracking number, but it's not active (yet?), so hoped someone could give an estimated time since I can't find it on the site (probably just overlooking it).

As a general rule of thumb, about two weeks from when the tracking number is activated.

You are not shipping to VA. Worst case is they will have to change it to a state with no sales tax

I thought a different publisher was doing Bloodstained? I wonder if this means that LRG will be doing all the game prints, then?

Hmmm that HUGE PS4 game... I have no idea :x

Rabit-Ribi I hope that date sticks this time!

OMG @ Dragon's Lair Trilogy. I won't have to hunt down that game on Wii anymore!

Curler You're confusing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (full game) with Curse of the Moon (8-bit gaiden)

Same here. Bloodstained CotM was great for what started out as a Kickstarter stretch goal bonus game. Excited that it's getting a physical release!

I wonder why Limited Run Games would sign Bloodstained for the PS4 and not the Vita.
Are you 100% sure that's the case, maybe just not announced yet? Would be a real shame if it doesn't get a vita release. Maybe because Bloodstained proper got canceled for Vita and the devs don't want people to associate the brand with the platform / remind everyone again that that happended? But I don't think anyone would mind (it's still available on PSN) and the game should really be preserved on Vita as well.

I would say that I'm more surprised with the Switch one (so far) not being an option, for a game that charted the eShop list the week it released.

Huh, thanks Shiz. Nothing for me until the 19th then (after I'll have been paid) which is nice. Super disappointed with no Bloodstained for Vita if that's true though.

Hah, looks like I'm finally getting Mages of Mystalia like a year after they projected the physical would be ready. My first and last Kickstarter backing.

Really hope curse of the moon gets a switch physical. Broken Age I could go either way on... I already own the PS4 version and digital and not too interested in replaying it. Rabi Ribi is go, outlast is probably a pass. Defender's Quest is a maybe... but probably no. Dragon's Lair... also a maybe.

Is it safe to wait until October 12 to preorder Golf Story? I was hoping to get that along with possibly whatever goes up for sale on that day.

Hah, I'm glad to see that my speculation for this month has been wildly popular across several boards after posting it on the 'Limited Retail' Discord! Hopefully these guesses will turn out correctly in the long run as I'm excited for the possibility of Bloodstained and Dragon's Lair Trilogy. Especially with the latter title after I successfully notified Doug about the PS4 port back in January on the aforementioned chat server. Never played those games despite their legendary relationship with the film industry as a cinema aficionado and aspiring film director!

I thought a different publisher was doing Bloodstained? I wonder if this means that LRG will be doing all the game prints, then?

I really hope Bloodstained gets released for Switch. It would be weird if LRG only signed 1 out of the 3.
I believe that Fangamer might be handling the physical Switch release for themselves, since the Nintendo platform has been pretty popular and it has stronger 8-bit roots with said brand, while allowing Limited Run to tackle the PS4 version. It's simply guess work on my behalf, but it's plausible in regard to them being the primary merchandise company behind the Kickstarter campaign, established experience with hard copy releases and, of course, their ongoing collaboration with LRG.

Just as long as you place an order before the 6:00-11:59PM EST cut-off window. Per their disclaimer on the product page: "PREORDERS CLOSE ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12TH BETWEEN 6PM AND 11:59PM EASTERN TIME. NINTENDO REQUIRES ORDERS TO BE PLACED IN INCREMENTS OF 1,000 SO ORDERS WILL BE CLOSED AT THE NEAREST 1,000 AS OF 6PM EASTERN TIME ON [OCTOBER] 12TH." Your best bit would be doing an order sometime during the first batch on the chance there's anything with a strict quantity that you'd like to pair with Golf Story.

Well color me interested. I'm assuming it's not going to be Fatal Frame 5, but how neat if it was right?

Edit: def not Fatal Frame. Probably Axiom Verge as Shizuka said.

Axiom Verge on the Wii U uses the second screen for the map, right? Always loved that feature for Metroidvanias on Nintendo handhelds so that would make the Wii U version the definitive one for me. I'm also one of the few people who like the Wii U way more than the Switch so I would be happy if it's true.

I would consider buying a Wii U copy of Axiom Verge, if only because the Switch version requires an update to fix some issues, which is rather frustrating. But I don't think I'd pay more than $25 for it... I could just as easily get the PS4 version, which I believe is also patch complete.

Now that's a first for me.
Maybe not the topic for it but for me, the Wii U differentiated itself by offering something different than the competition whereas the Switch is to me an inferior handheld to the Vita and an inferior home console to the PS4/X1 in terms of comfort and features. I don't really need a portable device outside my home either. I played a ton of Wii U couch games where one person played on the TV and another on the gamepad, and the Switch is incapable of this feature. Having two screens set the Wii U apart while the Switch has nothing I can't do better elsewhere. For me personally. I realize many people find the hybrid features incredible and I respect their opinions and completely understand why the Switch is more popular. But, in my unpopular opinion, the Wii U was awesome and just the type of Nintendo console I wanted, one that was great for local co-op.

Been trying to think of what the Wii U game could be for a while, and what would be actually worth releasing at this point. Would love to be able to finally get Fatal Frame V and would 100% buy it.
