Game Dev Story, Dungeon Village, and Hot Springs Story by Kairosoft, are coming to the Switch

Price wont be the issue....at least on my end.
Just no interest to replay them again....and i still have them on my phone.
First glimpse of the UI. Apparently Dungeon Village is coming as well, all three of them next week.
MegaMall Story was my personal favorite. But Game Dev Story was the gateway drug. Hoping there is new content to justify a re-buy.
Cool to see Kairosoft branching out from Mobile. Switch is the perfect platform for them to move to.

This was pretty much how it worked for me. Game Dev Tycoon did a much better job of smoothing out the difficulty, although I still don't know how reviews work in that game.
That being said, I'm too much of a sucker for game dev games, and if there's any new content it's almost gonna be a guaranteed buy for me given it's appropriately priced.
I'd pick up Game Dev Story again, but only as a novelty. That's a game that kills time on my phone, not a dedicated gaming portable or console.

I've played most of Kairo's games. My favourites are GDS, HSS and Oh Edo Town.
Bring all of them!! I spent sooo many hours with them on my old iPod touch years ago and wouldn't mind playing them again!
It sounds dumb but I was worried it'd be vertical. So glad that it'a got full wide screen support on the Switch. I've put maybe 20-30 hours into GDS over the years, once we know price I'll decide if I want to dip again.

This is a reference to C++ programming language. Note that in the programming world, C and C++ are two different languages, but C++ is C + 1. So it may hint something new in Game Dev Story.

Slight correction, it was the other way around.
Game Dev Story and Hot Springs Story were first announced. And then today, Dungeon Village was announced. But all doesn't matter in the end, because all 3 games are coming out simultaneously on October 11, in all regions.

It might be a sequel, considering they have ++ in the logo.
This is why I updated the OP post, so people can start theorycrafting.
Someone said the ++ was added to the original Ios/Android ports in Japan.
This is pretty damn awesome, in a way. Those are some damn good games, and people who hadn't played them yet are sure to have fun.
I really hope they polished the UI/UX and did something about the battery drain of these games. I loved Dungeon Village in particular, but the menu-laden game loop and lack of (polished) touch controls really annoyed me. Plus, my phone would always start to melt down when I played e.g. GDS for more than ten minutes at a time, for reasons unknown. I refuse to believe that their (Game studio/Hot Springs/Village) simulation is so high grade that they need to slurp all the juice out of the switch within twenty minutes of launch.
Also unsure whether I really want to buy these games again. I've already played the everloving bejeezus out of them. I guess I could splurge on Dungeon Village once more, for old times' sake.

We played the game back on Android Gingerbread and iPhone 3 and iPhone 4 (not iPhone 4S) at the time.

At the time when the app, Game Dev Story, was released, there was no eye-catching title than this. There was no games anywhere with the title "Game Dev" on Android Market (at the time it was called). The moment I see that it's listed as a game, it's a simulation genre, and it has "Game Dev" in the title, I thought, why not, just play the demo version. The demo version is free for up to 5 minutes in-game, enough to experience what it was like to start a company, hire an employee, and publish a game.
And that's when I saw the premise of the game, and went to town with the app.
That's how I know about the game.

Like, real new. I gotta check, might e bought the majority of the kairosoft games, but haven't really bothered over the past few.
I think their recent ones was the car game, and the town one with some awful pay mechanic or timers. Can't remember, but I dropped it fairly quick.
