Venom:
"This is why I can't trust you Sony!"
Spider-Verse:
"I knew I trusted you Lord & Miller!"
For all we know Ruben Fleischer isn't that great of a director. I never did like Zombieland.
Yikes these reviews.
Eh still gonna watch it. Cant be worse than Last Jedi.
Such a bad ass take.Yikes these reviews.
Eh still gonna watch it. Cant be worse than Last Jedi.
FTFY.Looking forward to Venom being released in a DVD double pack with Spider-Verse in a few years.
I said it before and I will say it again:
Upgrade will be the superior Venom movie in every way.
Excelsior! He films multiple at once. He's at least filmed cameos up to Avengers 4. Probably Spider-Man: Far From Home as well.
Just thinking about his final cameo gets me teary eyed.
From the prediction threadMan.. is that the official poster on RT? Looks fucking terrible. I will eventually watch this when it's out on video but dang at those reviews.
Also, kswiston , what are your predictions in terms of performance?
and because why notThis is probably the hardest game to predict yet. I agree with some others that Boxoffice.com is seriously underpredicting Venom though. They did the same thing with IT last year. Their initial long range prediction was $40M. The film opened to $125M. Signs of a huge opening were there over 6 months from release.
Still terrible reviews, and some of those trailer views being reflective of memes rather than true interest could lead to a huge swing. But, for now I am thinking closer to Suicide Squad than Fant4stic.
VENOM DOMESTIC OW: $126.0M
FANTASTIC BEASTS 2 DOMESTIC OW: $68.0M
AQUAMAN DOMESTIC OW: $85.0M
VENOM DOMESTIC OW: $110.5M
FANTASTIC BEASTS 2 DOMESTIC OW: $65.0M
AQUAMAN DOMESTIC OW: $85.0M
Ah crap here we go.Yikes these reviews.
Eh still gonna watch it. Cant be worse than Last Jedi.
I'm convinced Zombieland was a fluke now. No faith whatsoever 2 is going to be any good. This never really had a chance considering Ruben Fleischer is a weak, weak director.
Nice baitYikes these reviews.
Eh still gonna watch it. Cant be worse than Last Jedi.
Looking forward to Venom being released in a DVD double pack with Pixels in a few years.
You miserable people are everywhere. It's a great movie you didn't like, get over it.Yikes these reviews.
Eh still gonna watch it. Cant be worse than Last Jedi.
The veer from emotional to humor in the Woody Harrelson backstory reveal is really good, but I've never been a huge fan of the rest of the movie. For all we know Ruben Fleischer isn't that great of a director. I never did like Zombieland.
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/logan_2017/Notice how every non marvel film get dumped on. Something's fishy....maybe marvel is laying these critics to lower audience perception of competitors films
Thanks, interesting stuff. I'd imagine this thing is gunna crash and burn pretty hard after the review reveal/general WOM.
Y'all really sleeping on Aquaman.

And I'm pretty sure Into The Spider-verse is going to be rated fresh.

Do critics of that movie think about it every single day of their lives or something?
Honestly after seeing the first trailer I was trying to figure out why everybody still insisted that Venom was going to do well. I mean.. is there even a chance this thing can actually do well now? Trailers have been bad to so so and reviews are tanking. I can't imagine a decent WOM.I remember people in the BO threads trying to convince me that Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams would NEVER pick a bad script.
I also remember those same folks telling me that Solo would beat Rogue One's opening weekend.
AgreedHow about we just take all the Star Wars talk,
And push it somewhere else!
What sucks about this is that I think we may now never see a venom adaptation in the MCU."It's the first installment of the Sony Universe of Marvel characters."
No it isn't. But I sure as hell hope it's the last.
And Bumblebee too! But i'm gonna see all of those moviesY'all really sleeping on Aquaman.
Edit: But then again Mary Poppins could really damage it's opening.
How did I forget about my favorite movie of last year tyhttps://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/logan_2017/
And I'm pretty sure Into The Spider-verse is going to be rated fresh.
I'm predicting major franchise fatigue will hurt Bumblebee.
