I dont know how they could do crossgen games if the rumours are belivable
The cpu difference will be brutal
People complaining this doesnt look perfect when none of this was ever meant to be seen by the public. For early footage it's actually excellent
Some of you would have meltdowns if you saw what early footage of what some of the most impressive games released looks like even a year before launch

People always hints that they will use the new AMD zen cores
You're telling me full games aren't made via level editors????People complaining this doesnt look perfect when none of this was ever meant to be seen by the public. For early footage it's actually excellent

Everything I'd imagineIs this console or mobile?
Or one of those multiplat jobs where it's on every system and device imaginable?
lmao, hardly
Wouldn't be shocked if its monolith>made by Rocksteady
Day 1!
>made by Avalanche
I'll wait for reviews.
Why this weird choice?
Anyway. What engine is this? Is this UE4? It didn't look that for me. maybe cus it was off-screen footage.
Not for me. Gimme.
This is not made by Avalanche Studios, it's made by Avalanche Software.
The way I see it, WB should want consumers to buy next gen consoles. If Ps5 and Xbox Two are the consoles that WB plans to release content on going forward, then they should make their best effort to make those userbases grow as quickly as possible, that means starting at launchYeah I was using it as an example
Making it next gen only doesn't make sense unless you're using it to try and get people to buy next gen systems at launch
As this isn't a first party game they just want to get as many sales as possible, so why would they make it PS5 only and sell the game to fewer people?
That was my point, the game looks great but it looks like it will run on a current gen system. The publisher isn't going to throw away the sales they would get on PS4/XB1 for no reason
I didn't play Shadow of Mordor so I don't know what you're talking about. Even if it was just some system cut out from the last gen versions of the game, they were still essentially the same game just with worse graphicsI'm not saying I like or even want crossgen games, I'm just saying it will obviously happen for the first few years of next gen
They will just strip some things from the last gen versions if needs be
Remember that the PS3/360 versions of Shadow of Mordor didn't have the nemesis system
I actually really hope that's not in the game or barely at all. A green flash of light over and over again just doesn't sound fun when there's so many more interesting spells out there.
The studio that did Disney Infinity. WB bought them when Disney announced it was stopping publishing games. If that's the standard of visuals Sony and MS will be trying to sell people on to buy new consoles I don't think many people at least on here will be impressed at all. It looks like a current gen game outside some of the destruction which could arguably be done with the kind of small scale areas they're working with where you see it. I know, I know this is a terrible quality video to judge visuals on :P
Is this the Avalanche that makes Just Cause and Mad Max or the movie tie in studio?

Edit: Oh probably not Rocksteady? Yeah! I think Rocksteady should stick to making awesome super-hero games, moslty some mature ones.
Yeah. I made an edit. I didn't know that it may be Another studio. Rocksteady would surely stick to UE anyway.
Given Warner removed the original video it's basically confirmed to be real.
Going to disagree. A big budget Harry Potter game that explore more of the world and teaches you more magic than we saw in the films with no constraints being tied to them would have some big appeal. There's plenty of untapped potential with this franchise when it comes to gaming that we've yet to see.
If it doesn't really feature Harry, just drop the HP name.
Everyone would spread the word on the game anyway, much like what happened with Fantastic Beasts.
Seems like it's about magic being born or something, since it's RPG and you create your own wizard.
I say change it to - "The Chosen Wand"
meheheh
In a perfect world but the Harry Potter branding is too strong.

You know that not everyone can afford a new console at launch, right ? It's also for that reason that plenty of third parties will do cross gen games for the first year (at least) of the PS5 and Xbox 2. The way you're acting like the game can't be good if it doesn't run on next gen only is off putting. The way I see it, WB should want consumers to buy next gen consoles. I don't see what being first party has to do with this, I don't think I or anyone ever said this will or should be a Ps5 exclusive; it should release on Ps5, Xbox2, and PC together.

The game will be held back if it's crossgen, and I don't care if i come off as off putting with that opinion because it's simply how I feelYou know that not everyone can afford a new console at launch, right ?
