Putting this out there with 2 hours til the sale, if anyone has questions about SGW2 that might be curious about the game, I'm happy to answer anything or point you in the direction of a review that does.

Hey ! I think I read somewhere the game had been patched after release. Is the patch on disc ? If not, does it impact the game significantly ?

Super GunWorld 2 is the patch. Vanilla GunWorld 2 had several updates between when it launched on Xbox One in May of 2016 and the release of Super GunWorld 2 on PlayStation 4 (all Xbox One and Steam versions of the game and their stores were replaced with Super and previous owners were given Super for free).

There's a pretty dramatic difference between Vanilla GW2 and Super, and a lot of it comes down to art, difficulty rebalance, and additional polish. For best idea, I'd reference the Metacritic for GunWorld 2, and then look at the Metacritic for Super GunWorld 2 and compare scores.

Actually, for anyone curious I personally think this is the best review of the game out there. It is honest, hits hard on some of the games flaws, but also highlights why it's worthwhile for the people it'll appeal to.

I've addressed the Vita reddit thread and reached out to the OP.

This was indeed handled wrong. The customer support rep was right on our policy but was very apathetic to the customer.

This is not how I want our fans to see us or feel. There will be major changes.

Can you please chase up a ticket for me? I still have no resolution and I feel like I am being ignored despite being incredibly patient. Nearly 3 months since I paid for my held games to be shipped have passed; the package is obviously lost (no tracking updates since it was cleared and released by customs) and you sent out the wrong game anyway if the invoice is accurate.

Communication is still your #1 problem. Everyone who works for LRG needs to think more about what they say and HOW they say it. Every email, tweet and forum posts shapes your image, so you really should handle this better

Speaking of communication, 15 minutes of the Silver Case PC being on the site and people not being able to check out and nothing from LRG on Twitter. Do better.

One of the most childish threads I ever read. "All sales are final" isn't a hard thing to understand, and threatening legal action over such a petty matter is laughable. The only things I think they did wrong with Skullgirls (since it was mostly out of their hands with Sony Verification) was charging the account for the preorder when it was bought last year (instead of when it shipped like most other retailers) and not sending out more frequent email reminders about refunds/status of the product. Having it only on twitter isn't always the best idea.

Still, looking at the guy's twitter (he's raging on the LRG twitter too) he's pretty much acting like a spoiled child who's paying the price for not reading the disclaimer, and I feel things could have worked out better if he at least used more polite language and didn't threaten legal action. Even if the refund was too late to be done, I'm sure LRG might have given him a discount on a future release to compensate if he was polite about it and had a good reason.

EDIT: Night Trap was also just live but sold out in a minute.

LOL threatening legal action from Australia. Australia has zero jurisdiction over a company in the United States. Even if they got a judgment from the court for their 39.99 or whatever it was, there's no way they could collect against LRG.

Picked up Super Gunworld 2; not at all surprised how fast it sold out. Still, $37.48 feels quite pricey for a relatively unknown indie game, physical or not.

Good to see LRG will be addressing their CS issues. While they were completely in the right regarding policy, that conversation was handled poorly.

I will say as both a LRG fan and someone who (finally I'm able to say this) has worked with them as a dev, they seem very aware of communication issues and invested in addressing it. I think it's pretty safe to expect changes and consistent improvement from these guys as time goes on. They genuinely care about what they do and the fans they have.

I'm not going to make a Twitter account just to contact them there when they have a forum account here already and I really shouldn't have to kick up a stink to get updates on my ticket anyway.

Their twitter is literally their main CS place though. There's even a twitter account (LRGSupport) devoted to it.

Has Furi been up yet?
I mean, not that I'll be able to get one of those 30 from my phone lol
Yeah, it originally went live back around 1:45PM. However, seven titles that were originally sold throughout the day are supposedly being resold between 11:10-11:20PM EST.

Was that even a minute? didn't reach paypal before it was gone xD
Everything has been sold within a minute or less. Unless you have something like Amazon Pay or other "one-click" solution, I doubt you'll secure anything.

Has La Mulana already shipped for anyone?
It isn't expected to ship until sometime in December. Collector's editions are projected for sometime in the middle of next month, too.

Laws apply for the buyer as well as the seller

Anyone who runs a business is aware of this.
I've had to use legal action against company's in the USA on two occasions after being refused a refund because of all sales are final.
Final sales are not consumer law.
In the U.K. it is illegal to refuse a refund within the first 14 days of the product arriving as long as said item is in the same condition as it was dispatched.
Company's from around the world can quote final all they want, PayPal banks and many other services will and do side with the buyer as it's the law of that home nation.

I won both times needles to say

Edit: collection is down to the payment method
The customer can legally request his bank to do a charge back based of the exact reason he stated
PayPal etc will raise a final dispute and regardless of if lrg refuse, PayPal will refund via buyer protection, a item is covered 14-30 days from arrival

Got Super Gunworld 2 without problem on the 6PM batch. I'm holding fast to my Steam Sale rule of not touching anything until the holiday sale so I can exploit the card system, but am super-tempted to blow $2 on it there despite this.

Yeah but nothing you've stated there requires a lawsuit. You can just file a dispute with paypal or your credit card company and explain the reasoning using the statutes cited. Threatening a lawsuit from a foreign country when the accused company has no assets in that foreign country is idiotic. Any judgment issued isn't worth the paper it's printed on unless the two countries have some sort of comity agreement to enforce each other's judgments.

If said company found a way to bypass the bank or PayPal protection and withhold the money, then a legal precedent is due

I admit, this whole thing is ott and instead of moaning about it on a forum or whatever.
They should just deal with it in the means mentioned.

It's just important to know company's are not invulnerable because they are overseas.
I personally have never had a issue with lrg and services have always been stellar.
