It's actually up on the US store now, but it's listed as $4 instead of free like it's supposed to be. Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.
I have been taking my bloody good time with Yakuza 0. I'm almost done. I have unopened copies of Kiwami 1, 2, and Yakuza 6. I have miles yet to go before I get to FistO'. But I'm willing to wait for it. And Judge Eyes isn't too far off, even. Judge Eyes!
Original story. Almost none of it after the tutorial follows the manga at all, though character motivations all remain the same.
Wait when some poeple will mention this is Yakuza 0 with FOTN skin. But this will probaly be a Sleeper Hit.
Feels weird not playing a Yakuza game on launch day, but FOTN just has to wait a little bit longer until I'm finally done with Dragon Quest XI and Kiwami 2. But I'm very much looking forward to finally play it once I'm done with the two games I just mentioned. I very much enjoyed the Japanese demo when they released it earlier this year.
Well it seems a number of people I spoke to got hit with the game not arriving yet (including me) and Mega Man 11 is out. I love Yakuza, but there's one franchise that tops it for me and that's the blue bomber!

I will admit that as someone who somehow has never played a Yakuza game, my curiosity for the spin off here has my interest peaked. I might actually check this one out when I get the chance.

Copy arrived from Amazon, gonna try to balance this between Mega Man 11 & finishing up Yakuza Kiwami 2 (still on ch. 13 but I just did every sidestory & the cabaret club, now just need to do the clan creator stuff).

My copy should be coming later today, but VC4 takes priority for now, and I'm not sure whether I will play this or Mega Man 11 first. I will say that I did enjoy the demo, and I quite enjoyed the English dub, as they're all quality VA's whom I've heard before in many anime and other games. Plus, it was cool actually being able to understand civilian banter for once unlike in Yakuza, lol.
Played the demo, and man Kiryu's voice actor is the perfect Kenshiro. Why even bother dubbing this one? They would have been hard-pressed to find someone to do nearly that well.
I think the best english Kenshiro would still have to go to the VA for Ken's Rage though.

It has something to do when you press the circle button but I still haven't figured it out yet. I thought it will do the QTE for you but doesn't look like it. I turned it off anyways
I bought this mostly because I support anything the Yakuza team releases. I've heard of Fist of the North Star but never got around to watching it, I might have to give it a shot when I have more time. So far I've played an hour of the game, it's good fun.
I can't stand when a movie or game are resealed. Much less damaged in the process. Returning it to Amazon if mine have been messed with.
I went to pick up my copy from Game Stop a couple of hours ago and they said they didn't have it yet and that they were still looking through today's shipment... When VC4 came out they tried to give me a copy they opened for display since it was the only copy they had... ON RELEASE DAY. So done with this company. I reserved both these games.

Yep, casino, big and smaller mini-game (there a Cabaret clone like Yakuza 0). But sorry to kill your fun but no mahjong ;)
Another nice thing about going digital, no need to worry about shitty retailers not getting copies of an obscure release.
I want to say it's all first print copies, doesn't matter the retailer. It'll be behind the cover art.

I was having a similar problem, but I got the game delivered a couple of days early here in the UK. They didn't go live until today and then my code worked okay this afternoon.
The shrink wrap has an official "includes bonus DLC and stickers", so I have a feeling all Day One copies are shrink wrapped and resealed. Can anyone else confirm?
