Is it known what the technical differences are between the Switch version when docked and the base PS4 version?

That...is odd.

It is visible from the console dashboard store, but somehow not visible or searchable on the web store.

Thanks for the heads up, managed to get my pre-order in the nick of time through the console store.

Too bad you didn't catch this earlier since the web store is much more user friendly (never would've thought of using the console store), I bet I'm not the only that has run into this problem. The number of digital US pre-orders must be really low. :P You also can't buy/pre-order from the US demo, it gives out an error.

I've seen it on the US PSN store. Pre order and you get the arranged music and I think an exclusive dynamic theme.

It doesn't show up on the web store, just on the console. At least for me.

Why isn't it unlocked yet?

It's unlocking in 30 minutes on PS4.

What time (and on which timezone for that matter) does GMG usually send out codes?

Defeated the 8 bosses, so far I like it but I'm not super impressed. Music is a big let down and some stages are too long. The boss fights are cool but kinda feel like they are easy with the buster, you won't be desperate to find their weakness. Graphics are nice, some stages are very good looking.

I'm gonna hold out for a few days and replace the original series for fun first.

I'm curious to see what a potential patch changes in the game before jumping in.

Has that ever been the case for Switch though? As far as I've seen, it appears to either be midnight EST or noonish when the eshop updates the following day.
Absolutely, I was talking about Switch. Nintendo 1st party is always midnight EST and other 3rd party games have released at midnight PST.

We'll see though, hope it comes in a bit.

Are there any graphical advantage for consoles over switch? I feel like I want it on PS4 but the allure of having this on switch is really tempting.

I might double dip oh no my wallet.

With all the years I have been legitamately saddened each time when I think that megaman is dead. I might just buy this twice just to send a message to capcom.

I just looked at the Steam page for the game and my hype deflated a bit once I discovered that this game also has Denuvo Anti-tamper :/...

Noticed one of these achievements pop up when I was messing around on the Switch version last night. Really cool. Think I may stick to the Xbox One version for my 100% run though. For some reason I'm getting bad cramp playing this in portable mode, which didn't happen when I was playing the demo constantly over the past couple of weeks.

Maybe it's because I've been knee-deep in the Xbox version all weekend. My hands are now accustomed to playing the game on that controller....hmmm.

Oof. Balloon Man's stage is definitely going to cause some rage-quitting. I found it almost impossible until I learned how to properly jump on the balloons, but there's one screen on that stage that is patience-testing to be sure.

Loving every second of it though.

Is Capcom releasing the digital Mega Man 30th Anniversary Bundle on Switch, or is that going to every other platform? It's available on Xbox One twice the price of Mega Man 11, but I'd prefer to pick it up on Switch (as I already own Legacy Collection 1 on Xbox).

I started with this stage first and just made it to the boss right now. I know the area you're referring to... It certainly takes some time to get it just right... But once I did I can (and had to since I got game over) get through the entire stage pretty well now. Though that second frog was tough at first as well but now I can kick it's ass no problem.

At the boss with no lives left haha... Let's see how fast I go down

Edit: damn, almost had it

Played two stages. Block Man (who I already know like the back of my hand) and Bounce (Rubber) Man. Now, maybe its playing on the handheld screen but there's some issues with Bounce Man's enemy placement on a couple of screens - you can't see them coming until you get hit by them, a couple of those cannons are deviously placed as well. Bouncing on the balls works just like on Spring and Plant Man's levels in past MM games though so I picked that up immediately. The frog boss is also super easy if your using gear powers (I need to do a naked run on that stage).
Bounce Man though, despite the challenging stage was a complete push over! I started the fight with maybe a fifth of my health left and beat him (buster only) with no issues. Fun boss fight, but definitely seems like the Galaxy Man fight of the game (i.e. the easy one).
That said though, I really love Bounce Man's stage, I just need to learn a few parts more thoroughly to nail it down perfectly. Hopefully the rest of the game is this good. Now just to wait for my PS4 copy to arrive to start my plat run on it.

I finally beat the stage, and managed to get Bounce Man on the first try (thanks to another boss weapon). I really enjoyed Bounce Man's stage looking back on it. Some really fun set ups.

I'm loving this game. Platforming bliss.

I really, really like the look of the new art style. Seems faithful to OG Megaman and nice and fresh for 2018.
Will probably pick this up on the weekend.

Ok. Tried Bounce Man's stage again, and yeah I was just being a tad too impatient. Its really simple when you know how. Actually really fun when you know how! Who to tackle next...

Tried a few stages of this, got several game overs. I'm happy the game is putting up a fight. It's late now, but I'm excited to try more tomorrow!

Block Man down, my first Robot Master. Thoughts so far:

-Game is pretty hard, but that's not a bad thing. Speed gear was instrumental in not taking unnecessary damage from Block Man stage's miniboss. 2 game overs before I cleared it.

- I don't like the physics changes. Being in hitstun is a lot different, especially when hit in the air. There also seems to be a short delay when turning around while running. Jumping feels about right, though.

- I'm using E-Tanks, I don't give a fuck.

E-Tanks saved me when taking on Impact Man. I would have died.
