I'd like to see what the texts actually say before I decide how huge this is. The article is pretty sparse on details but that's probably because of all the people who have lawyered up.
I feel like with any other Senate we wouldn't have even gotten to this point. Enough would have been quite a way back.

Because under oath he testified that he had not heard of her claim until it became public news.

This news story says as early as July. The New Yorker article wasn't being written in July. If he heard of it back then it wasn't through the New Yorker.
Do those 24 judges also support his stance on sitting presidents being indicted? I think that's the key part of his appointment

As far as I recall he specifically testified that he first heard of that news from the New Yorker publication and had no prior knowledge of it before that story ran.
