I love and hate this.

It's not like his desire to fight Frankie and RDA on those occasions he talks about were a secret, both situations were well-reported at their times. It's not Conor's fault that the UFC doesn't feel like booking him unless they send him on a year long media tour to maximize their revenue even though he has put in that work multiple times only to see his opponent pull out and therefore not be able to fight for the belt he was working towards, even though when Khabib was in a similar situation they let him fight #11 Al Iaquinta for the belt they stripped from Conor. And if all the people hadn't pulled out of fighting him when they did and he still kept winning his fights against those originally planned opponents at those weights, he would've defended both belts in that same timeframe, the 155 one a few times.Cant believe hes going the "they took my title, they never offered me a chance to defend it" way to justify never showing interest in defending.
no one to play touch butt with :(
That comment about Pettis being better than Khabib/Conor...
Well said. It's not like his desire to fight Frankie and RDA on those occasions he talks about were a secret, both situations were well-reported at their times. Khabib punched down after his opponent pulled out, multiple times. Fighting guys like Darrell Horcher annd Al Iaquinta, padding his record while Conor has always punched up, fighting a stylistic nightmare in Chad Mendes (who claimed he was well trained and ready to go before the fight), and going up a weight class higher than the one he originally planned to fight in which was a class up from his last fight to begin with, to face Nate Diaz, both on short notice. If Conor elected to fight the Horchers and Iaquintas of the world as replacements instead, I'm sure he'd be undefeated in the UFC too.
He got punished for chasing a really large paycheck and keeping the UFC afloat in a year where none of their own MMA PPVs made any decent money, as well as taking a paternity leave.
Too many cynical MMA fans don't appreciate the work Conor has put in over his career and just how special he is as a fighter. Some idiots even claim he fought bums the whole way. This reductive "he never defends titles" meme totally ignores the context behind him not defending those titles. Meanwhile, the fact that Khabib gets to say he's "defending" his title this Saturday coming off his victory over Al Iaquinta (as well as the previous murderer's row of Barboza, Johnson and Horcher) is a goddamn joke.
Fell through now he thinks the goal is Gus vs Jones? And he said he wants to challenge for the title at 205 after? I read that anyway.

I read this before watching it, I expected more military press on a bosu ball but not this awkward stuff.
That company is so friggin' lost right now, it's nuts.
Tony will spar with the cable that injured him, on the next embedded.
Yeah, I love that they refused to strip Conor for so long. But DC, who has said he wants to defend the belt, is getting stripped so quickly ?
I don't know why DC has any loyalty to the UFC.
I am beginning to honestly feel the only reason they sent DC up to fight Stipe was to lure Jones to Heavyweight.
That shameful interview post his KO loss only cemented that thought. The stuff with Jones right now and the title stripping only makes it clearer. Yet he still plays company man. They don't deserve it.
if by fuck him up you mean hump him for 3 rounds and then get the judges to score a MMA contest in his favor, then yeah, probably.
I was going to say something to this effect.if by fuck him up you mean hump him for 3 rounds and then get the judges to score a MMA contest in his favor, then yeah, probably.
Had a good laugh at a Schaub vid where he predicted this fight is going to the judges.
If the fight goes the distance, Conor's probably going to be on his back for most of it. I really doubt he has it in him to take a 5 round beating from Khabib. Especially not at this point in his career. It could. A lot of Khabib's fights do, but if this does it's 100% a win for him. Conor only beats him in the first two rounds via KO.

Yeah but what difference does it make? He's still perpetuating a toxic message.
