I'd think he doesn't know for sure what actually happens. I don't think either of them were prepared for "what happens when you go in and unplug". So he wanted to have that experience with her so she wasn't just potentially trapped somewhere forever.

Good video but I wish the woman was played by her more attractive sister. I dunno why I just got a feeling she would have been better.

That was cool, but I'm not really a music video person. It's never been a form that has resonated with me. I always find myself just counting down the seconds until the video is over.

Sissy Spacek and American Dream rule though.

Got excited for a new LCD Soundsystem song.
It's a great song though, so can't be mad. That whole album is god-tier.

Just watched it - that was great. Knew those kids would be shits.

TLJ is one of the worst movies ever made, LCD Soundsystem is one of the worst bands around, coincidence? I think not.

This dude is amazing, I like almost all of his work. ( Since someone else already mentioned TLJ, I feel free to mention that's what I didn't like, not because it's bad, it's actually an excellent movie that I happened not to like very much)

I have no problem disliking TLJ. This is the dude who made Brick and the band who defined the late 2000's for me. Post up shit you like instead of shit you dislike and maybe people will be more receptive to your crazy ass opinion.

Rian Johnson has been a fantastic director and has yet to direct anything even close to bad. So no surprise.

Lots of people like dumb things. The transformers movies are a massive success as well.

A better comparison would the dark knight rises. A massive commercial and critical hit. You think that movie deserves a 87% on RT? TLJ won't be remembered fondly at all. It's almost prequel level stupid. At least it looks nice.

Anyway, he did a good job on this video. That what this thread is about.

Move on. This is not a hill to die on, no need to pretend people will one day reverse course to agree with you on this. Get over it man, people really like RJs films including TLJ. It's all good. You didn't need to drag it in the mud with that thinly veiled trolling. This is an awesome music video.

Rian Johnson with yet another classic. I don't think anyone could dislike his filmmaking. Everything he's done has been a classic with no debate needed
