Haven't said who is doing the release yet but Bushiden has a PS4 disc available as part of their KS campaign.
$45 USD
Man, I said I was done with Kickstarter, but I definitely have to back this one
Yeah, it's an incredibly well put together campaign.
mikehaggar any idea when we'll know who's doing the physical release?
Yeah and Strider is one of my favorite series of all-time and this seems like a very Strider-inspired game. It also reminds me of Hagane and Shinobi and the fact that it's going to be a metroidvania game makes me love it even more, haha
Hey, guys! Thanks for the kind words and the support! We appreciate it so much! :) As for who is doing the physical release... just waiting until the terms of our agreement are finalized before announcing. It will definitely be announced before the Kickstarter campaign is over, but should be much sooner than that!
Thanks for the support! We talked to some of the companies that do physical copies for indie games. They either weren't interested in partnering with us or we couldn't reach an agreement regarding the business...
That does look very Ice Cream Surfer-ish and they did talk about a SHMUP at some point...

The ports are great. There's a new Psikyo collection (vol. 2) out for preorder on Play-Asia. Including (not my description):

How is the first volume? good quality ports?
What are the worst games that have gotten physical? It boggles my mind that there's tons of bad indies -- the really dreadful kind

I'm starting to skip these limited releases that're not Limited Run Games. If Limited Run Games increase their monthly Vita output, I might drop them as well. Sad times, but enough is enough.
i'm starting to think only LRG can get good digital games or only the good digital games seem to go to LRG, last non LRG game i got was 99vidas and that was a huge stinker

I mean, EAS got Severed, which is huge, while LRG did get a few stinkers like Mecho Tales and Plague Road. Either way, I'm still buying EAS as well, but judging that even Devious Dungeon, which had a really small print and it's still available, I might as well just wait for the right time to pick those up instead of struggling to buy them day one.

Oh shipping price has dropped. It was 12 EUR and now seems to be 10 EUR. (to the US)
I wonder how many of those companies will still be around in 5 years. Wouldn't be surprised if LRG are the only ones.
Feel like this is the fifth or sixth time they've teased this?

Then there'd be just VVVVVV and 1001 Spikes left from Nicalis, right?

Based on how many copies Bard's Tale seems to have sold, I'm not sure the company's gonna stay around long. What's the risk you're referring to? I ordered one, but I don't see much risk.
Sure. When did it go on sale....yesterday? Can anyone see how many copies have been sold in the first 24 hrs?
Sure.
Vita currently has 1802 (sold 198 copies so far)
PS4 currently has 1889 (sold 111 copies so far)
Another slow burn.
Feature Documentary – The retail version of Hellblade also comes with a digital documentary exploring the origins of the game.
Even though I'm not the CM for this title I'll clear up the confusion:
We (505) are publishing worldwide the retail version of the PS4 physical edition.
Microsoft is publishing the retail edition for the Xbox.
Antonela Pounder (@AnimatedAnt on Twitter) looks after the physical retail version of the PS4, so feel free to post any further questions her way or at the 505 Twitter account
