I got both the codes for Butoden and the day one Goku & Vegeta Blue unlocks printed on my receipt. No slips in the case like with the initial PS4/XB1 release.

Just had my first two matches. Ran flawlessly and had a blast with the cooler/17 combo. So much fun having this on the go
Super Botuden were japan only , only Super Botuden 3 had an french release i think.
Was Butoden on a different code in Europe too?
I don't seem to have gotten it from the one code I got sent, unless you have to play it inside the game? (Retailer did mention Butoden as a preorder bonus though.... )
Edit: Seems like there is meant to be two codes. Will contact the retailer. Annoyingly it doesn't seem like they'll respond till Monday though since they don't open weekends. :(

I'm a casual enthusiast when it comes to fighters (love DBZ though) so I've done the tutorial and a few random matches and it is running really well and is pretty much the same to my brother's PS4. Connectivity seems fine to me but like I said I'm casual. I played my online matches in handheld and did tutorial docked.

I have no idea. Doesn't help that there isn't many people talking about it. The other stuff like 1v1 mode, 17/Cooler DLC, etc from the recent patch seem to be in though.
The DLC (including Cooler and 17) seem to be straight up on the cart, weirdly enough.
I read on twitter there was going to be a day 1 patch for the game, maybe thats not out yet?, thats the only thing I can think of really. the patch is out on pc already i was trying out 17 on the new stage yesterday

I preordered this back in July on Amazon (for the 20% discount). I didn't get the notification that they shipped it until yesterday evening. The preorder codes came at 3 in the morning. And then it just got delayed two hours ago. So I have to wait a little longer (1-4 days apparently).
I actually was double dipping, so I can just play it while waiting for my Switch version.

Odds favor it just wasn't ready in time. Can't imagine update will take long to release on Switch.
I think that's the preorder bonus? To unlock Blue versions is my guess.
Yes. They're new colors for every character. Some new lobby avatars too.

That happened on the other platforms a few weeks back. I think there were server problems around that time?
Kinda nice to extend that to Switch players considering the game wasn't even out on the platform when that happened.
It's not a preorder bonus. PS4/XB1/PC got it awhile back and we were all pretty confused about it.
No, I'm saying they showed up on the character select screen as locked (I haven't bought them yet) without downloading the Day 1 patch. I just kinda assumed the data for the DLC characters (Or 17 and Cooler at the very least) would be a part of the Day 1 patch.

I'm done for the night, sadly. Don't have much time today to play. Had a blast though and managed to get a few wins in arena matches which was nice. I have no idea who I'll main yet.
Oh I see, yeah that's the norm when the new wave of DLC drops. They probably put all the updates on the cart.
There are a few framerate drops. So while it's generally a great port, don't expect it to be a viable option for tournaments unless ASW & Bamco iron out the kinks in a future update.
Running great been playing all day. I'm doing the tutorials a few random battles. I'm not a tournament guy and mostly will just use it myself and with friends so definitely great to have that + portability. Perfect for Bite size gaming on the go.
Well I just found it but when I tried to redeem it it said that the code has already been used. I guess Amazon must be sending out the wrong code more than once.
Amazon labeled the codes wrong for me. The code for the Blue unlocks was actually for Super Butoden and vice versa.
Yes, there is dynamic resolution, it's noticeable when you do a Super.
