How would you see a "Super Mario" game where you only play as the Girls?

Playable characters :

Peach
Daisy
Rosalina
Pauline
Toadette

Same as a regular modern mario game ( Think Super Mario Bros U or Odyssey either is fine ) each character has it's own gameplay quirk ( Floaty jump, short Glide, double jump etc ) but overall it's just a classic Mario game.

Honestly, i would think it's a neat fun idea... if Nintendo can do an year dedicated to Luigi, there shouldn't be a problem dedicating a full entry in the Mario franchise to the girls in the franchise. We already had a game just for peach in the past and they have been playable in multiple titles that this is not a stretch at all, but at the same time, i have to wonder how much of a shitshow it could potentially be in the current time we are to do such an obvious, clearly well intended and harmless move for the franchise. It would sell, no doubt about it... and there would be shit slinging because of it too, no doubt on that either.

But i would honestly be happy if nintendo gave it a try on Switch for it.

Super Rosalina Galaxy could totally work instead of Super Mario Galaxy 3. She even has the Galaxy moveset in 3D World.

I want a Mario and Luigi style RPG with Peach and Daisy. Maybe you get more party members (Rosalina, Pauline, Toadette)

A side scrolling Mario-like would be fine and totally work, but I would love for a game to be built for these characters rather than a gimmicky or spin-off-like of a main series mario title. Plus, they could write a cool story about all the ladies getting together! Put the Paper Mario people on it

I dunno, I mean the story and characters don't matter in most Mario games but those are some bland-ass characters so if it's a story based game (like the RPGs) they'll have to seriously expand their personalities.

There have been plenty of Mario RPGs and they do just fine story-wise.

Why not just make a spin-off series? Yoshi has one. Toad has one. Luigi has one. Wario has one. Hell, Mario is a DK spin-off.

I don't see the point of this. If you just want to play as those characters then they could do more Mario games where you can select your character.
