Basically I feel like the odds of the Brewers sweeping the Tigers is higher than the odds of the Cubs sweeping the Cardinals considering the Cardinals still have something to play for
to be fair the cubs don't have to sweep. They just have to take 2 of 3 to ensure they won't fall out of first in the regular season.

either way it's vital the brewers win tonight.

Brewers pretty much have to win out in order to win the division or force a game 163 against the Cubs. I highly doubt that the Brewers win the division w/out a playoff being necessary

yup that win for the cubs was huge yesterday.

regardless of what the brewers do. I hope the cards and rockies sweep their series :P

If the Brewers don't win the division I'm not sure I want Colorado coming into Milwaukee with all of that momentum.

edit - nevermind they'd play the dodgers

Some of y'all need to spend some time as a fan of a truly terrible team so you appreciate how good most of you have it.
I assume this is alluding to the Yankee overreactions a couple weeks ago.

The difference being the Yankees might win 100 games and have made the playoffs so they're legitimately good.

The Cardinals are a sub .500 team outside of one insane month and have been plagued by the same issues for three seasons with a FO that seems disinclined to fix them.

I was also a Rams fan from 2005-2015. I know what a shit team feels like.

The first year I really started getting into the Brewers (and baseball in general) was when they lost 100 games.

Raise it.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will a finish with a winning record in 2018, which is pretty good, considering that people who don't know what the fuck they're talking about said they were tanking in January.

Britton, Chapman, and Betances all vying to be the pitcher most likely to completely lose the plate on any given night. This bodes well for the postseason.

Congrats to the Yanquis, for barely squeaking into the postseason.

what happened to the Red Sox who were the bestest team that ever bested the best?

I wish nothing but ketchup and hot dogs for you.

why would you wish something beautiful and wonderful on him?

I really don't feel as confident in this year's bullpen as last year's

it's not as good at all.

Glad to see the Rockies make it in. Didn't know they could clinch a spot tonight without the Dodgers losing though.

Been a lifelong Rockies fan, excited to be back in the playoffs again, hopefully securing the division this weekend for the first time too.
