Do any of his lines of argument appeal to anyone outside of conservative partisans who've already made up their mind?

The smartest thing Democrats and Ford have done here is refrain from using common partisan lines of attack. Hell, it took them a while to even mention Trump by name. That gives their argument a feeling that it's elevated from the usual partisan splits. Their opening arguments sounded like they were coming from women and addressing women.

Kavanaugh sounds like a man addressing Republicans. Not exactly the type of people he needs to be convincing.

Just realised, this is a traditional GOP tactic, we recently saw it in the Cruz Beto debate: Republicans always appeal for emotion over logic. Ford gave facts, logic, science. Kav is all emotion. It's the classic philosophical clash of Republicans and Democrats all over again.
