His own stance doesn't make a shitload of sense--He knows he can't go after Dr. Ford, so he has to allow that she was potentially assaulted and just confused, but also he maintains this is a leftist plot cooked up by friends of the Clintons for revenge.

So, what, the Democrats just went to his home town until they found a confused abuse victim to swindle? His argument makes. no. sense.

It's credible to me that he was a blackout drunk that did this (maybe multiple times) and he never knew that this level of darkness existed with him. As a husband and father he could be entirely ignorant to type of man he was.
