Tyler Austin just hit a home run and the Tigers first baseman tripped him as he was rounding first. Tried to play it off like a mistake, but dude tripped him. Face first into the dirt. I would say the name of the Tiger first baseman but no one knows it so who cares.

Here are the National League tiebreaker scenarios per ESPN (I don't think they're factoring in multi-team ties at the moment).

Additionally - if Atlanta would end the season tied with Chicago or Milwaukee for the best record in the National League, then Atlanta gets the #1 overall seed in the playoffs. The Braves split their season series with both the Cubs and Brewers, and the next tiebreaker is divisional records which Atlanta dominates.

I disagree with
"If Chicago ends in a tie with St. Louis, it is still TBD where the game would be played. (St. Louis leads season series with Chicago 9-7 with three games remaining)"

as the only way St. Louis ties them is if St Louis beats them in their head to head games lol.

His arm strength is the one thing he has going for him defensively. He just has shit accuracy, which is why I would assume he feels like he needs to take his time.

Yea, that's not what you want from your 3B, slow to throw the ball and have accuracy problems. I just looked up the stats and he is by far the worst defensive 3B in the AL with a dWAR of -2.1. The next worst is Devers with -0.9. So his dWAR is more than twice as bad as the 2nd worst defensive 3B in the AL. Wow.

Apparently there's a halfway decent 3B available in free agency that really wants to play in the Bronx

Yeah...don't see the Cards making it. Going to miss the playoffs by one game again.

David Ross is right. These broadcasts need to be split screen simultaneously with both groups of casters talking to one another.

Playoff Brewers. FYI of all my favorite teams(Brewers, Bucks, and Lions) the Brewers are the last one to win a playoff series/game.

I would argue Brewers haven't clinched playoffs yet, just october baseball.
if they don't keep winning to get the division they could totally be knocked out in the playin game.

but alas I am the type that will never call the single wild card elimination game a playoff series.

2 hours 34 minutes in. Bottom 5th. Two umpire reviews, one long argument, 2 errors, 1 guy getting tripped on his HR, score is 11-4.

go pirates, hold it and win it in extras lol.

leave the brewers fate in their own hands and not in the cards hands.
