Did anyone else just see the "Confirm Kavanaugh, nothing happened" commercial on CNN?

I have honestly never seen anything like this before.
Yeah i saw it twice. "these are "GIRLS" who REALLY know Kavanaugh! they are his REAL friends! Listen to them talk about how he's a super great guy! confirm judge Kavanaugh... "

They had to stop running that one ad after the woman complained about it after the second accusation came out. losers.

Is Trump still doing his news conference today?

Is he going to fire Rosenstein and victim-blame sex assault victims all in one shot?

okay, buddy, it's clear you're gonna keep fucking this chicken regardless of what anyone points out

Do you think it's any coincidence that the accomplishments of a high profile minority woman are being dismissed in favor of a boisterous blowhard white lawyer?

Harris has worked tirelessly to ensure Kavanaugh isn't confirmed, but lets forget all that because Mr. Funny Lawyer man did a joke on twitter.

Foffy why u do dis?

Such an absurd comparison is sure to derail discussion of the topic at hand, perhaps it should be moved to a different thread, no?
Not moved to a different thread no, just avoided altogether.

On topic, I don't see how the GOP can legitimately continue to support this racist piece of shit. His place is in the court but in the defendants box rather than the judges.

Holy crap. Avenatti wasn't bluffing. This is who they nominated to the supreme court? A fucking repeat rapist? "because he was young when he raped several girls and sexually assaulted others" ?

Is this what we've come to, my fellow citizens?

If this was Ace Attorney, this would all end with Kavenaugh pulling off his toupee and ending in jail while Avenatti gets appointed to the Supreme Court in his place.

None of this would have happened if Trump nominated a woman

Speaking as a privileged white male, I have absolutely no problem with affirmatively acting to elect/nominate only women for a good long while.

It may not be the only way to ensure we don't have entitled assholes climbing and running our elected offices, but it is probably the best one.

Privileged people going to privileged schools and being put into privileged positions because their privileges allow the law to not apply to them.

ISIS also supports numerous barbaric and violent policy visions that the Republican party does not. Please.

Boy, let's not get into the comparisons on this.

Don't assume I'm saying one of these is "good". "Worse than" still means both are bad. They both belong in the dumpster, for they're purely irredeemable ideologies predicated on divisions and violence. Let's accept the scale of normalized sociopathy this country has put up with when literally half of the political system depends upon a party of companies, profit, the defence of pedophilia, and the normalization of entry-level injustices. The worst thing about the American people is they consistently find value in the valueless, and that's almost always in regards to what they normalize, and it always stems from one political party.

"God" willing, the GOP across the whole country becomes what it is in California: literally classified as a third party. Let's hope this shitflinging they've done actually warrants a backlash. This shitshow right here better cost them the fucking Senate.

Hmm you know, I think I agree with Trump. The economy is the only reason that matters when it comes to approving Kavano.

I just saw that calendar they are presenting as evidence and I can't help but think it looks like Slippin Jimmy and Kim Wexler put that together. That thing is absurd.

Someone should call child services on this woman. Awful parent and proud to be.

Don't call me boy.

The following sentence is objectively true.

ISIS is worse than the GOP.

Add as many qualifiers as you want to hastily avoid having to step back your original statement, it does not change the fact that ISIS is objectively a worse thing than the GOP. You implying that the GOP is somehow worse is disastrously Ameriocentric and insulting to the victims of ISIS.

Now stop this ludicrous derailing mission and get back on topic, or continue your idiocy in my PMs. Either way leave the trash out of this thread.

I hope some of these women are long-time republican anti-abortion voters so that republicans can't say they are all liberal antifa or whatever.

I keep being amazed by the older people who are SHOCKED that fraternity gang rapes might have happened, because it was a big thing in the 80's. There were multiple instances of big frats getting caught doing exactly what Ford describes. I was curious and ran across this, a 1988 article that talks about more than 80 instances of it.

And this was, of course, only the ones that people found out about.
Wasn't that frat culture glamorized in the movies back then too?
