This has been the question since PS3 daysIf they have a legit emulator for PSP and PS1 why can't I play my digital version of Castlevania?

Koudelka and shadow hearts is probably is copyright hell, with both US and Japanese publisher out of business
Because these will probably die on the PS4 hardware since Sony is more interested in selling you low-effort "remasters" than proper backwards compatibility support.Lol, most of them are already locked on old Ps hardware, why not bring them to the new one? Smh
I would say it's more petty to think it's fine that they are locked to one platform, so long as it's your platform of choice.
I vote for the Suikoden I and II Collection by Konami. There's an actual PSP port but was never localized. Also had wide screen support.
So has it been confirmed these are straight ports of the PSP game or is just speculation at this point?
Came here to post this. I see you are a human of culture as well.

Hire anyone else to do the job, and port them everywhere.
Oh shit yes !!! Would be so cool...I vote for the Suikoden I and II Collection by Konami. There's an actual PSP port but was never localized. Also had wide screen support.
Same :(Damn, why didn't I even think of that. Great idea! Now I'll just be disappointed when it never happens.
I'll be less annoyed by this whole thing if they do a parasite eve double pack.
It seems more likely to me So y may have approached Konami about it maybe?"Sony please help me emulate my 20 or so year old games" is a funny thought, but if that's just how it is I'd like to see the PSP MGS titles. I don't know a lot else about the platform, though, so a lot of announcements could be really exciting surprises.

Yeah, Castlevania Requiem is starting to sound a lot like a Sony initiative.

Honestly I'd prefer Sony just opens up backwards compatibitly with all their consoles in the next iteration so I don't have to pay for games I've already paid for, in some cases both physically and digitally.
