I love the updates, but I won't glorify PD like many. These cars and tracks are the least they could do after releasing a game with very few cars and tracks. A game that lagged behind when compared to GT5 and 6 in so many ways. We still don't have dynamic weather and time lapse.

Yeah the game released in a very bareboned state.

After 4 years from GT6 to Sport, yes, the game was pretty lacking, and still is, though I find it very enjoyable.

I find it exhilarating

Exactly. We are getting what we shoud have got october 2017. PD had the time and money, and they messed up. Now they are basically finishing the game, while many paid for beta version.

Dude the game currently has more content than GT5 if you don't count the standard cars. It's way more polished and focused than either of the PS3 games.

They delivered the best online racing experience from day 1. Everything else is gravy

Love the E92 M3 GT2, great to drive.

Never played on Fuji Speedway in any game so time to learn the track i guess.

Hey let's be serious here most people aren't paying more than 40 bucks for this game other than the hardcore that bought it at launch. Most people now are getting this for like 20 or so.

Can we just be happy they are fucking updating this shit instead of whining and bitching about useless things like could have should have beens?

PD has the best looking cars in videogames with the best MP model of any game out there in racing. Their tracks also have more detail than anyone out there in many areas. The polish on their UI is second to none. Calm down people. They aren't charging you for this.

It's been years since I've driven the Speedway.
I found a free run lobby that only allowed comfort tyres. I decided that was the best way to test the track for the first time.

First go on the track. Out lap and first quick (lol) lap below.

Fuji has always been a good track to race on. You feel like you have so much space in slower cars. That space always seems to disappear once you get in the faster classes. Lots of overtaking options and funny lines you can run to do cutbacks and hassle other players.

Hopefully I get time to drive something a bit faster around it tonight.

Lexus GT500 at Fuji Speedway in PSVR.

I'm convinced PSVR2 on PS5 is going to be THE way to play driving sims next gen.

The patch introduced a new money-making bug. If you make an Endurance Race on any track in Custom Race and turn on Fuel Depletion, the CPU can't fill up the tank. You can win in a N100 car against Gr.1 opponents with a 25 minute Endurance race if the Fuel Depletion is set to 10x, which is over 1 million credits.

Correction: You definitely need to set it to 25 minutes if you're trying it with a N100 car like a MX-5 or a Honda S660.

No game makes me love cars like this game, so damn good.

Though I played some Assetto Corsa sequel and looking sweet too.

I feel very strongly about this too

I think it is very, very possible at launch or near launch PS VR has compatibility on PS5.

GT Sport gets a "PS5" update rather than just Pro update.... VR becomes native 4K @ 90 to 120 fps on PS VR version 1

Then PS VR 2 comes in and we're at native 4K @ 90 to 120 fps and HDR in GT Sport 2 with in-car global illumination and part ray tracing in game too to make dynamic weather and TOD across all levels :))))

What the fuck. I need to do this NOW. Got to go to bed, how long before they usually patch these out? Their 20m credit shit is ridiculous, and I for one am fucking sick of it. I still don't have one damn 20m credit car. Nobody has time for that shit unless they play this hours on the day or at least very consistently. At least not to get more than a couple. I have none. Those Ferrari's need me.

Wait, can I just let this race on the oval while I sleep?

Correction: You need to set it to 25 minutes for N100, but a N200 car might do it in 20, though you get less handicap bonus.

In case anyone is curious, the NSX Type R has an audible VTEC transition. It's way later in the power band, but it's there.

Okay so what are the exact settings then?
Custom Race any track, pick N100 or maybe N200 car. I'm trying it on Red Bull Ring right now.

Race Type - Endurance
Time Limit - 25 minutes
Starting Grid - 20
Fuel Depletion - 10x
Boost - Off
Opponent Category - Gr.1
Opponent Difficulty - Professional

Tune your car however you want. Race. You'll get lapped once within the first 5 minutes, so try not to get wiped out. And then when the CPU tries to pit, it can't fill up on fuel so the cars will start dropping off around the 10 minute mark, and you should get 1st by around 21-22 minutes.

I'm still testing it out so things may change. This will probably get patched out around next week.

EDIT: There's no handicap bonus. You do get about 300k, maybe 450k with Clean Race Bonus. If you're willing to increase the Time Limit, you'll get more prize money.

How much do you earn?

In the Premium Sports Race on Blue Moon Speedway, you earn 375,000 credits in 12 minutes.

About 300k or so without Clean Race Bonus. It's about half of BMB. A 40 minute Endurance race is 500k, which is better than the Endurance races in GT League. I thought you'd get a handicap bonus, but that seems to be reserved for GT League events.
