Cousins vs RAMS still a good start? Peters is day to day and Talib is out. Luck is the other option.

I've got a similar question to this - Should I go Cousins vs Rams or go with Dalton? Before last week's performance I was confident to stick with Cousins even on the assumption that the Vikings would lose, but with the Vikings taking a kicking I'm wondering if there's gonna be a psychological effect, especially against an unbeaten team that's really on the march.

Why in non-PPR leagues of 12+ teams its more important to draft RB than WR
Here are the FA RBs avalible in my league

And here are the WR

It's so hard to find a guy on the waiver wire who can even get you 5 points for RB, but there are always receivers out there

Man, he's coming off an all-time shitfest against a terrible D and going against a GREAT D. And it's Thursday night.
If you have a reasonable option- and Luck certanly qualifies as reasonable- start them over a shaky dude on Thursday

In all my leagues it's always the teams that can get a couple solid RBs in the draft, or right after camp on the waiver wire that are successful. WRs can be so feast or famine, even a great one can get shut down. A RB1 is still gonna get 15+ touches in almost any game, and could vulture in on a goal-line TD.

For WRs, I always keep it at 4 WRs: WR1, WR2, the Flex option and the backup for any bye weeks.

I always keep a look out for RB getting opportunities because of injuries.

in my work league (10 standard) some of those guys are actually rostered *shivers*

I currently have 7 RB's on my roster and will be dropping one this week (burkhead-I picked up michel off of waivers and I don't care if he doesn't pans out) but yeah shit sucks. Wish my work league would switch to 0.5 ppr but no dice

while im not thrilled about it, i'll probably keep morris on my team because everything else out there isn't so great. probably won't start him unless I have a really bad bye week ( i haven't looked)

I'm screwed in one of my Yahoo leagues. My defenses are the Vikings (against the Rams) and the Broncos (against the Chiefs). There's really not a defense that I could use to stream this week, but I feel like the Vikings might put up more of a fight defensively than the Broncos will against the Chiefs.

Also, would you bench Brady or Brees this week for Rivers who seemingly has a great matchup against the 49ers?

Rivers is definitely a better play than Brady but not Brees. Brees has looked amazing and he gets the Giants Swiss cheese defense this week. Should be a shootout with Saints defense being so bad. Rivers isn't bad but they might blow them out early and just run Melvin Gordon all day. But then again I was wrong about the same thing in the MIN/BUF game.

The only reason I'm thinking about it is because Brees plays completely different when playing outdoors vs indoors. His numbers are usually much worse.

Not at you specifically. This is another league. This owner was not active during the season - Did not swap out Rams K.

Ah ok. Tough week for you then with two close losses. :/

In my 12 team standard league, I have found the opposite to be true. There tend to always be startable RB options on waivers throughout the season, even ones that go on to be top 10-15 RBs (Kamara last year, Conner this year, etc.). That's why I drafted 3 WRs (Hopkins, Thomas, Thielen) before taking my first RB (Ajayi) and my strategy is paying off in a big way as I'm 3-0 with the most points scored in that league.

Stream Arizona- they get to host Seattle which is a pretty good matchup. Alternativly, stream the Colts- they managed 5 sacks last week, and Desean is the most sack-able QB in the league behind a horrific Oline

What do y'all think about offering Adrian Peterson for Leveon Bell? AP has had two great weeks, and there seems to be no end in sight for Bell's situation. I have Kamara, Dalvin Cook and Gio as RBs so I won't miss AP too much. Bells owner is a little desperate too.

Ugh, D. Cook and L. Fournette are again questionable.

RB injuries are killing my season.

I might have to fire up A. Jones and hope the Packers come to their senses.

What say you all.. Chris Godwin for Tevin Coleman? (I would be getting Coleman, I'm a Freeman owner).

Is Seattle defense worth using waiver priority 3 in a 14 team league? Been 3 all season. 1 and 2 haven't moved yet so not like I'll get some stud if there's a significant injury.

Do you really need a win now or do you have an extra roster spot? Because they face the Rams next week and got a by on week 7. So while they are an amazing play this week, you'll only use them in 2 of the next 4 weeks.

It's a money league, I'm 2-1 with a pretty much 50 50 chance at winning this week. 3-1 would be amazing as I'd only need to go 5-4 for a playoff spot. I've got some bench spots I could drop. It's a 14 team league so the end of the bench are shitty players anyway. How do you post screen shots from a phone? I could post my roster.

if you got the roster go for it

Standard scoring my Lamar Miller, Diggs for Mike Williams and James Conner?
Conner is the guy that if I have I'm not trading him away, but I'm also not trading for him since we still don't know what will happen with Bell.

I traded Lamar Miller for Bears D. No ragrets.

But it really only makes sense if you have the depth to do it.
My league only starts 1 rb and 2 flexes (2 wideouts, too). I have Lamar, Hunt, Woods, Landry and AJ Green as my starters. My depth sucks, but it's 14 teams, so everyone's depth sucks. I've been holding onto to Chubbs and Jones II waiting for the inevitable Hyde injury and for the second round pick to get his chance, but they are droppable if a player becomes available. I also have Ware but he's my handcuff so need to keep him.

Also, the owner with the bears d has Powell so maybe some incentive there to have both backs in case one gets injured.

Should I start Javorius Allen, or should I take a punt on Aaron Jones now he's back? I picked Jones up on the Waiver this week. I have a disproportionately weak RB game as I drafted Bell 2nd overall (fuck!) and McKinnon 3rd round - about 24 hours before he got injured and ruled out for the whole season (fuuuuuck!). I've been trying to patch up holes ever since, though I've been lucky in that decent WR picks have carried me to 2-1 (and the loss was close) so far.

On the same topic - I would've won week 3 if not for 2 Minnesota players and the absolute nightmare they had. QB wise I have Andy Dalton or Cousins. Gut instinct is to go for Dalton even though Cousins is better stats wise given that Cousins is coming off the back of a rough week against a team that's on fire, because because Dalton has a favorable match-up vs Atlanta imo. Just curious if ERA would make the same decision...

I spent 36 on Ridley. I've never done FAAB before so not sure if that's a good price or not. How do tiebreakers work?

Decided to pick up Mayfield on a whim. Not really counting on any QB other than my starter (Wentz) , bet hey if he puts up good fantasy points then great. All potential, zero risk.

Edit: huh. The teams Cleveland faces all have been giving up plenty of points to the QB. That's kinda interesting. Not necessarily that big of a factor after only 3 weeks, but interesting nonetheless. Look at his next 6 weeks. Except Baltimore

My current wr's are Devante Adams, Marvin Jones, Mike Williams, Chris Godwin Tyler Boyd, DJ Moore.

Any suggestions of who to target for a potential trade for an RB?

I have a W/R headache this week.

Currently set to start Jay Ajayi, but not sure whether to pull him out for one of Julio Jones, Stefon Diggs or Brandin Cooks. I'm sceptical of Diggs or Cooks because of the Vikings/Rams matchup, and don't trust Jones so far this year. On the flipside, not sure how much Ajayi will play.

I picked up Christian Kirk in a few leagues. Rookie QBs usually have their guy they look to often and maybe they'll have a connection.

I really like Mark Ingram when he comes back from suspension, but I couldn't trade Sterling Shepard to do it

I'd also like to know some other targets I could go for in the Sterling Shepard/Calvin Ridley/Kenny Golladay range

I picked up Kirk too, guy above. He'll never start on my team, but I think he could be nice trade bait

Who should I dump? Jamaal Williams, Jordan Wilkins, or Antonio Callaway?

Williams and Wilkins seem like they're gonna be mired in RBBC situations (or displaced altogether) with Aaron Jones and Marlon Mack returning. Neither took hold of the starting role as I would've hoped.

Picked up Ridley in my league also. Think I'm gonna play him over Hogan this week. Hogan's only had one acceptable game this season, and I assume his looks get worse now with Josh Gordon around (and Edelman next week).
