I bought this game just based on the screenshots and I'm glad I did. It really scratches that Castlevania itch. It's short but has tons of replay value. I'm on my third playthrough and each playthrough has been different. I highly recommend it if you're looking for an old school platformer. Plus it has some awesome music.

Its wonderful. I know Inti did it but it gives me incredible hope for the main game.

Loved this game so much. I know it's not technically a Castlevania but it might be my favorite if lumped with the classic Vanias.

Yep, it's pretty great. I had a few minor quibbles but it is pretty much a Capcom Castlevania game and I love it.

Definitely a fantastic game. Makes me glad I backed the Kickstarter.

Can't wait to play the next game.

It's currently my Game of the Year.

It's a pretty good introduction to the characters. Makes me hope Zangetsu has a prominent role in the real game...hopefully playable, too!

Yeah this is going to be my GOTY as well. Such a perfect bite-sized experience, with some really fun replayability. Probably my favorite OST of the year as well.

This game is fantastic, especially because there are very few "classic castlevania games" that come out these days.
The first playthrough is quite easy and you might think that it is nowhere near the difficulty of old castlevania games but wait for the next ones and you will face real old-school challenge.

Here, duh.
Just got back into it myself. Bought and played at launch, and it felt right to play, but I just wasn't in the mood, I guess. Stopped until just yesterday. Suddenly, I'm in the mood and it's hitting all the notes.

I've actually been lukewarm on the whole Bloodstained thing (because as close as it is, it isn't Castlevania), but this little treat has done a lot more to endear me towards Ritual.

Real good stuff.

I literally had forgot they were even going to do this on my backer stuff. I paid 60 and no idea this was even a thing, so was pretty pleasant when it arrived.

They seem to be doing well with the other game, and they trying their best to do what is good for the game and community. Thank the lord for the delay.

Absolutely! One of my favorite games released this year. Got it for Xbox One for being a KS backer and will probably buy it on Steam to support Inti Creates, Iga and everyone involved.

Does this game is supposed to take place before the main game or it is like a spin-off of short?

I'm trying to decide if I want to buy this for Switch or Vita + PS4

I play my Switch more than anything else these days but I feel like the Vita D-Pad would be better for this game. And while I'll be playing handheld regardless, I would still have the TV option on PS4 becaus of cross buy.

There doesn't seem to be any real benefit of having this aprtocilar game on Switch other than the fact that it's the only console I play anymore, but I still feel compelled to buy it on Switch just because I've got Dwitch on the brain. I still really love my Vita, I just don't play it much anymore. Used to be my most played system before Switch, actually.

On the other hand, I'm kind of weird and feel like I need a Castlevania in Switch since I already have Castlevania in Vita. This is the closest option.

Well, I got it for the Switch, and really enjoyed my experience with it. Definitely recommend it.

I got this game with xbla gold subscription and I really, really like it. Just finished it and unlocked nightmare mode. It's not crunchingly hard, witch I like. I wonder how it's doing economically? Is there any talk about a sequel?
