Just finished the Torna expansion for XenoBlade. Enjoyed it a ton and I recommend if you like JRPGs or Xenoblade. On that thought what is Era currently playing? Maybe I'll check it out myself. Need something new to play!

Torna. Slowly and steady since I don't have a ton of time to play.

Debating to get Valkyria 4 afterwards. Definitely getting VC1 tho

I've been playing lots of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe while I wait for Breath of the Wild to get here either tomorrow or Thursday.

Nothing outside of family overcook and mario tennis time during weekends. I got Torna but not motivated to play it yet since I got Spidey, DQ11, Shadow of TR and upcoming AC especially RDR2.

It's been a minecraft machine for my daughter.

Edit: Currently playing Shadow of TR, just platinumed both Spidey and DQ11

Dragon Quest XI.

I have a Switch, but that's what I'm currently playing.

Be more specific, OP!

(I'm looking forward to Super Mario Party next week.)

Lots of MGSV: TPP. Also a little Samus Returns on hard mode I've about had enough of that damn cleaning robot.

Hollow Knight still. I'm 20 hours in and it still feels like I have a lot left to do and see. Mostly play on my commute.

I've been playing a lot of FF15 Pocket HD and, even though I'm pretty far into it, I've just today deleted my BOTW save and started over. Man, what a game! I'll go long lengths of time not touching my Switch, and then all of the sudden I'll fall in love with the idea of playing on the couch cuddled up under a blanket with my girlfriend while she watches Youtube. I reckon I'll either beat BOTW again or burn out on the dungeons (My least favorite part, honestly) and then wrap up FF15. After that maybe Octopatch Traveler. I dunno, I'm just feeling really JRPG-y lately.

One of the things I like about FF15 HD Pocket is there's not a ton of ridiculous systems to figure out and crap. It's pretty simple and straightforward. Any suggestions for lengthy Switch experiences that are somewhat similar?

Nothing since online is paid currently. Was playing Splatoon, but will wait until Animal Crossing to buy online.

On break. Just finished Torna. Will resume to gaming when Valkyria Chronicles 1 releases. Might dab in a bit of SNK Heroines here and there until then though.

Victor Vran: Overkill Edition, definitely recommend if you like Diablo like games. With intermittent Picross S2 breaks.

Next game will be Labyrinth of Refrain, to compensate for the lack (so far) of Etrian Odyssey on Switch.

After that I still need to get back to Octopath... And this is just the tip of the iceberg of my backlog :-(

Happy Birthdays. Surprised no one's talking about this little gem. It's not perfect, more a 7/10, but it's a fun sim game where you control this cube that represents a chunk of a planet. By altering the landscape, sea size, temperature, wet/dryness, and choosing certain creatures to prune, you get life to form and evolve. Depending on your choices, you could even end up with dinosaurs being alive when modern humans come about. There's an incredibly barebones (like, INCREDIBLY) barebones story without a satisfying conclusion but that's not really the main draw anyway, the instructions it gives you are. There's also a challenge mode where in each level you try and bring a certain species of dinosaur to life with special conditions put on the cube, and a free mode where you can transfer your accumulated stars from the story and start anew.

I'm deep down in the dark best of Hollow Knight. Have been for the past two weeks. I'm taking my time down there.

Currently playing a couple of titles, was pleasantly surprised by Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk. It's basically Nippon Ichi Software's (Disgaea) attempt at an Etrian Odyssey game (first-person turn-based Dungeon-crawler basically) with some pretty interesting mechanics, like having up to 15 active party members. There's also a demo on the eShop so I'd recommend everyone interested to give it a try. There's some questionable character design, but you only see the character's faces most of the time while dungeon crawling like Etrian Odyssey so you're not subjected to it during gameplay.

Aside from that, Into The Breach is still good when I have some time to kill during commutes since sessions usually last less than an hour usually. Good mix of a puzzle game and x-com turn-based battles with a cool "using mechs to save towns from Kaiju" theme.

Lastly, I've been getting into Arena of Valor that just came out. I've played a decent amount of MOBAs, and having a controller is a lot better than touch controls for me. It's F2P, so I'd say it doesn't hurt to try.

Been playing a shitload of Paladins. I'm kind of addicted in a way I never really was with overwatch. Playing it handheld is just incredible to me for some reason. Enjoying mario tennis as well and trying out the octopath demo. I don't know if I'm cut out for jrpgs but I want to try. Any recs for an awesome story driven game that's not overly complicated with crafting and the like?

I've sunk a lot of hours in to Hollow Knight as of late, such a darned great game. I promised myself I would take on my backlog once I beat it.. but here I am still playing Hollow Knight... inching in on 100% but I should probably take a break and get back to it a bit later.

I'll buy Torna probably this weekend. But I still have South Park: Fractured But Whole, YSVIII I want to start pretty much right now.. so hard to pick.

Right now Valkyria Chronicles 4, which is every bit a good game as I was hoping it to be.

Other games currently on my rotation include Enter the Gungeon, which I still haven't beaten and FIFA18.

But most of my gaming is now dedicated to VC4 and then Star Control: Origins on PC.

Still on my quest to 100% Mario Odyssey. The 100x beach volleybal moon has me rethink that though.

7th 100% playthrough of Mario Odyssey and my 6th playthrough of BotW. Need to get back to The Messenger and Undertale as well but I'm considering another playthrough of Hollow Knight. Supplementing my Switch gameplay with some nightly PC Destiny 2 and biding my time til AC Odyssey.

Nothing for a little while. I should probably continue working on Mario + Rabbids but other games have been distracting me. I guess I'm kinda on a holding pattern until Smash.

Finished Hollow Knight a few weeks ago so I started Octopath Traveler. I love it because it is so simple and even though I'm playing it in small doses I never feel lost.

Also ... since it's launch, I always play Hyrule Warriors when I go to the bathroom, this is always the perfect time to do some adventure levels. I ADORE that game. It is so perfect on Switch.

Can't wait for Towerfall and Mario Party.

Undertale is waiting as well.
