Indeed. Motorsport, while still impressive (7 on the X looks and feels insanely cool, and I personally loved the lootbox system as it had a risk vs reward thing going for it without involving real money), just feels relatively stale - but in the end, it's a simcade, there's only so much you can do after a while, and in fact it's not that GT: Sport or Project CARS have these incredible never seen before features either. On the other hand there's Horizon just rewriting the rules of what's possible in an open world (racer or not) with every chapter, making you feel like a completionist and pitting people against each other in everything, from proper multiplayer to jump lenghts, combos, custom events and more. It's like the ultimate car party where you do whatever you want, and more serious circuit-based racers absolutely can not have this level of freedom or creativity, thus of fun anymore. They can always become more immersive and more realistic, but at this point I feel that Horizon is the main Forza series because it can stay fresh.
