Marble games are back, Marble It Up! comes to Switch Sep 2018

A 20 minute or so interview with gameplay footage. There are some spoilers regarding trophy locations so if you are sensitive to that kind of thing I suggest you listen with the video minimized.
A TLDR:
- 20+ map addon will be dropping around launch or shortly after
- Multiplayer mode will be a free addon coming after launch
- Multiplayer will have more than just a single mode. There was even talk of a 'Marble Royale' (re: battle royale) type of mode
- The music in the game is an album of songs spanning 80+ minutes of unique music tracks

Whoa was that two players racing at the end there or was it like 'ghost' racing like in some of those other games where you are basically racing against a pre-recorded person.
It's the latter. Multiplayer is slated to come some time after launch in an update, so not all hope is lost, but I'm not sure a racing mode was mentioned.
Also, they confirmed the price in the trailer's description: $19.99. Date is only confirmed for NA region for now.
Damn, a 2-4p local multiplayer racing mode would make me buy in a heartbeat. Gonna have to hold off on this one for a bit sadly as I'm drowning in other purchases right now and have still yet to finish Yoku's Island Express.

Yes please! That terrible Kororinpa sequel was heart breaking. I'd love to see a new good gentle rolling game. 'The Little Ball that Can' is decent but Kororinpa is the best.
This actually looks like something I might fuck with. it looks like a 3D platformer, but you play as a marble. I can dig.

Super stoked for this, love the Marble Blast games.
I notice a lot of people wanting this to have the levels move instead of the ball (ala Monkey Ball), that is very much different than how the Marble Blast games work. The ball physics are what make it sublime to control, building directional momentum just right is satisfying (rolling on ice for example). Almost plays out like a platformer than a balance game.
Wonder when the eShop page will go up, considering there are only 6 days till release.

I'm weirdly into this, despite having only played one marble game in the past. Is it coming to Europe too? Unless I'm blind the website only mentions the NA eShop.
