I kind of feel like it should have been stopped when Anders dropped all the way down. Granted the round was almost over but he still took a bunch of unnecessary shots after that. And his corner trying to force him up and back to his stool was pathetic. Throw in the towel you fucks.

This fight made me a believer in Anders. He's going to be a force to be reckoned with at 185.
Assuming there isn't any lasting effects from this throttling. HIs gas tank was awful tonight. And this was at his more natural weight without a cut.
This was a short notice fight, and fighting with extra weight than you're used to isn't going to help your gas tank.
Anders was in the fight the whole time. If they let him keep on fighting after collapsing than yea, that would be awful.
Moreso the trying to pick him up and drag him to his corner thing. If I were them I'd have called it.

Diaz/Poirier should be a 5 rounder and having a division between LW and WW could be ok, but 165 is too close to 170 and having a former featherweight in the fight that opens the division is probably a sign that it's not really needed for anything other than marketing.
I still think they're just waiting for 229 to announce the Bones fight at MSG (Dana doubling down on it "not happening" makes me believe it is). It makes no sense to have left the main event open in the first place unless they were planning something bigger than Diaz/Poirier.
