I just remembered why boweach design seemed familiar and it's that this is not my first time seeing peach x bowser/koopaling
Please avoid posting gratuitously sexualized pictures of the character and keep the content work-safe. While it isn't always clear what the boundaries are of SFW, we operate on a general principal of we know it when we see it. This thread has a NSFW warning but that doesn't give license to violate our work-safe policy.

I guess both, but there are significant differences among the two situations beyond that, and this fenomenon encompasses fanart that is not necessarily sexual. I'm here because I'm fascinated by how all of this blew up from a single comic page and even reached japanese artists with a name

I don't think Nintendo would seriously use this concept but I'm curious if all the attention might make them curious about trying an evil Peach.

I like seeing the Bowsette art, but I wish we could see more art of other characters wearing the crown. I swear it's like the new Midnight Bliss.

I think the idea still stands as the author is from outside of Japan and the push came from western and generally non-Japanese artists first, usually the Japanese community doesen't get involved in this kind of things unless it starts in Japan itself
