I'm really enjoying TWAU Season 1 so far. That's too bad.
More like 25 people to finish TWD season 4 and than bye bye Telltale. Sad news. They presumably canceled everything but The Walking Dead, maybe the Netflix thing (I have to imagine that was almost done), and then... I guess The Wolf Among Us 2 as their sole project after that?
That sounds like "keep the residual checks and storefronts running" level of staff to me.Yeah, I can't even imagine what they could do with that amount of employees. For all intents and purposes they're shut down, unless they plan to make some very tiny projects and then eventually re-hire.
Yeah see it now. Alot of people already gone. Crazy to see.
It is super possible they're just closing down after Season 4 finishes, yeah.More like 25 people to finish TWD season 4 and than bye bye Telltale. Sad news.
wut. Seems like most of their games sold very well? Especially as none of them are that of high budget.
Man, I always remember Colin Moriarty saying they were juggling way too many projects and the lack of significant improvements to their engines wasn't forward thinking enough.
Didn't expect to hear this mid-Walking Dead though. Figured they'd finish a season of something and would go silent a bit before eventually hinting at possible financial issues.
I have to imagine those 25 are just there to finish the current season of TWD and then the studio will shutdown. Can 25 people be enough to actually release a game of theirs? Like maybe 1 episode at year or something like that.
Yeah, 25 people to oversee the release of TWD, and then closing doors it seems.Only keeping 25 people is, to me, basically a sign that they are closing. That's a skeleton crew to close up shop.
