I'd be indifferent-but-open to Steve/Dragon Quest if Sugiyama & Notch didn't exist. But they do, they're awful people, & their indelible from those IP's. Yeah, there are some prominent Minecraft youtubers who have some... interesting histories.
That having been said, there's a couple of MC youtubers that recognise a lot of children watch their videos and so try to be clean and vaguely decent role models. I don't know who they are, but I'm told they exist.

I'm curious, what's so different about what FGO is doing compared to Kancolle before? Or the myriad of other gacha games in the market?Don't get me wrong, FGO is the most exploitative thing ever made and literally transformed mobage into a giant casino industry (besides having nothing to do with Nintendo). But it's super influential and makes money, so might as well.
