I'm getting Tomb Raider tonight and that's it for the rest of the year.
Resident Evil 2, Days Gone and Sekiro will be day one.

Anthem is the only game on that list for which I'm checking. Well, that and Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition.
That list is seriously suffering from a heavy dose of sequelitis if you ask me.

You forgot to list Super Mario Party. Probably the most important game of the year.

I have no earthly Idea how I'm going to have the time to play all of these games.
I honestly didn't see this fall or winter as being as crazy as before. In previous years, it felt a lot more overwhelming. Maybe it's because of my burnout, maybe less games interest me now, and maybe it's because I'm sick of some series, don't have a Switch and some of these are niche or mediocre looking social games. I don't know. Maybe it's a mix. This fall and winter actually isn't that bad for me and I'm breathing a bit of a sigh of relief.
I was given Spider-Man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and both are great. I also have NHL 19 which is generally a must for me.
I hated myself when I bought Soul Calibur IV because it was terrible, so I won't be buying or playing it. I will be playing and/or buying:
Red Dead Redemption 2 (pre-ordered for $50 :))
Forza Horizon 4 (pre-ordered for $50) *GOAT racing series
Assassin's Creed: Odyssey (same)
Hitman 2
Just Cause 4
Then:

I missed the last however many Kingdom Hearts games and don't play JPRGs anymore, but it does look good. I'll probably play it. Anthem just looks like a forgettable Destiny clone and I'm sick of those games. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 stripped the campaign, my favourite part, and I'm just not that interested. And Battlefield V I don't care about. Maybe I'll borrow it from the library to play the campaign.
Crackdown 3, I was looking forward to, but I don't have a lot of faith in it now.
Maybe I'll get Pokemon Let's Go when I get a Switch, but I'm not in a rush. I got really sick of Pokemon really quickly, and Sun was a chore to beat.

personally outside of smash significantly more stoked for Q1 next year but yeah, it boggles the mind. Gonna be a crazy rest of the year for many, and Q1 next year looks unbelievable

So much this. I'm a year behind with new releases and loving all the cash savings and having fully working and patched games!
And here I am still having a huge backlog of games to play. On the bright side,being a bit behind schedule as far as release timeline goes saves quite a lot of money.
For me, it's this fall in particular: I anticipate getting 5 of the games on this list (not all at launch) and there a few not on this list that I might have gotten if not for the logjam.
But, there's nothing in Q1 that really interests me, so I'll have that time to catch up (and repair my budget)

Bold are day ones for sure. A lot to buy. This year has been pretty great and a step up from last year. And 2019 looks like it will be even better. 2017, 2018, and 2019 feel like they're just increasingly getting better from one year to the next.
The rest of this year is kinda meh to me. Probably pick up Asscreed. Waiting for PC version of Red Dead. Maybe Underworld Ascendant, Darksiders and Pathfinder if word of mouth is good.

Wow. That's an insane list, and one that will take me all of next year to get to.
For now, I'm just trying to get through Dragon Quest 11* before the onslaught of the fall games. I leave for vacation/work today for a month, so I'll be way behind when I get back. I probably won't get to Spiderman until after RDR2. Man, I need another me.

That long list in the first post, and the only game I'm interested in is Sekiro. Just goes to show how difficult it is to keep people satisfied. So many different tastes, etc.
