Marvel's 'Spider-Man' sold 3.3M copies in the first three days of release

I'm not sure we ever got numbers for Arkham Knight's launch, but Batman: Arkham City did 4.6 million copies in a week, so it's not 100% clear that this is actually faster.
Mind, regardless, it's an incredibly good number.
I mean it's still more. Breaking a record like that back to back is impressive. I'm interested to see how it sells for an entire month. GOW did 5 million. I want to see if this beats that and by how much.

These are shipped numbers though. 3,3 M is sold through and doesn't include copies in the limited edition bundle.
This is probably the first PR sales-boast I've seen that went out of the way to exclude sales of bundled copies.
This still doesn't make it clear since we don't know how fast it sold through.
It's so sweet to see my favorite dev getting the credit for an astounding game. They earned this.

They are amazing, but no, not Halo 3. Halo 3 did similar numbers in NA alone, Spidey's numbers are worldwide. AND, Halo 3 launched to a much smaller install base than the PS4. They are phenomenal numbers, but not quite that level.
