What do you hope is announced at TGS this year

Now that the Switch and PS4 both have a large userbase in Japan we will probably see a lot of games supporting both consoles. I expect a lot of remasters as pre-TGS a lot have been announced. Hopefully, we will see more of SMTV and maybe more info on Atlus' new IP Project Fantasy.

In a time when we get a lot of content that we want, I would really like to see FFVIII somehow, but the time for that reveal has passed already.

Left Alive could get more info, and Kingdom Hearts 3 information verbally by Nomura via interview is what I want,

the rest...

I mean, FFVII Remake at e3 2019. FFXVI.

I would love to see a new Monster Hunter game for Nintendo Switch. Sure, we recently got MHGU in the west, but Japan got that game last year, and given that it always takes some time for MH games to come to the west (with the exception of MH World I think), I wouldn't find any problem with Capcom announcing a new MH game for Switch.

I wanna see what the hell Dragon Quest XI looks like on the Switch. I'd also like to see NMH 1+2 on Switch, Ace Attorney 7 or Switch ports of AA1-6, Ape Escape 4, maybe a new Parasite Eve, and footage of the Grandia remasters, but considering those ain't hittin' Japan I guess I'll go cry elsewhere.

I just finished Persona 5 last night and it's one of the best rpg's I've ever played. Hell, I hope it goes to Switch too.

But realistically I hope they announce a fixed camera for Resident Evil 2....and that zombies still back up every 3rd shot so I'll still feel awesome going through that game :D

Legitimate things that I think can be announced are:

- Ace Attorney (there's a series stage event on the 22nd - V-Jump also has an Ace Attorney slot on its schedule for the 23rd)
- Dead or Alive 6 character(s)
- New Dream Club (D3P is revealing a new title tonight)
- New JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (there's a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure stage event for that Pitapop mobile game, but maybe there will be more)
- New Sword Art Online game (there's a game series 5th anniversary stage scheduled for the 22nd, which will have a simultaneous English stream)
- Soulcalibur VI character(s) (there's a stage event set for the 22nd, which will have a simultaneous live stream)
- Something from Square Enix (in the past, Square Enix has made announcements as soon as the show opened - like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix)
- Something from Atlus (Atlus has previously thrown tidbits about its new titles in its TGS streams - like last year confirming when we'll get new SMT5 info, or in 2014 where they broke their silence on P4D and announced that the Persona Team would be taking over development from Dingo)

Huh. Didn't know that. If CC2 are working on another JoJo game please don't make it another arena brawler. Either port over ASB to PS4/PC with some new characters or make a new traditional fighting game (an ASW JoJo game would be mint).

I would like to see more games for Switch.
  • Wii U and other platform's games I was interested in but never played like TMS and No More Heroes.
  • More remakes/remasters of games that would fit perfectly on Switch like Trauma Center/Team, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden.
  • More new games like the above and SMTV, etc.
  • More interesting indie games like VA-11 HALL-A and others.
I've got a bunch of games on my PS4 this Gen but not many that are best/only on Switch yet.

Most of what would have been announced already has been at Sony's conference.
That said, still hoping for VF6, some footage of the new Sakura Taisen, and some announcement about an actually new Monster Hunter for handheld (so Switch).

I just don't see much happening at this point.
