#Puddlegate for Spiderman, Xbox and Sony backwards compatibility, cross platform play, tomb raider vs uncharted.. ect. This entire forum has its threads derailed on a regular basis by fans of specific companies.
Was there a reason we haven't created sub forums for the gaming side? Xbox, Sony, Nintendo, PC, and General gaming discussion? I feel like the conversations would be more productive.
It wouldn't just keep it more productive but Xbox specific OTs could be on the Xbox side, PlayStation on the Sony side, multiplatform games on the General side. Some of these threads move so quickly it's easy for actual news to be removed from the front page by OTs and other console specific threads. At least I've had many cases where I look at something, go "oh that's awesome" and realize it was posted 4 days ago because the front page is covered with OTs and argument threads.
I get where we all came from and it's the way it was at the old place... But maybe ask the community if they would rather separate into subforums to promote debate or conversation rather than bias argument.
