On PS4? I don't believe it unless the price is really cheap. Honeymoon phase for the game has ended, Fortnite has risen in gamers minds and completely overtook PUBG and those that want a more realistic BR approach just have to wait 1 month to get Blackout which is basically PUBG with better performance and no doubt much better post-launch support considering Treyarch is definitely going all in on battle royale.
PUBG on PS4 will do great. It's still an extremely popular, well-known BR brand that's beloved ( in spite of its technical shortcomings ).
I hope the money from exclusive deal worth it because it does feel too late. FN has taken the light on PS4 and the big names are dipping their toes in BR race this fall.

H1Z1 couldn't do shit against PUBG when it was paid on PC, and died even quicker when it went F2P. Fortnite is a completely different game, and CoD is a 60$ annual title that won't be supported for long. PUBG will easily sell several millions. Too late my ass.
It was obvious it would be our around a year later on the PS4. The Xbox One box even says Console Launch exclusive which stands for timed exclusive. The real question is if anyone even cares at this point with Fortnite and H1Z1 being free and Black Ops 4 and BF5 bringing their own versions out.
H1Z1 is pretty damn popular on PS4 if you haven't heard. They have over 10 million players on there so you clearly don't know what you're talking about. You must be a hardcore PUBG fan to just dismiss these other games like this.
H1Z1 announced they had 12 million players a month ago. Don't compare PC with PS4.

It's free to play which is all the help it really needs just like Fortnite. PUBG still runs like crap after all this time and who knows how it's going to run on the PS4. PUBG has been becoming less and less relevant and that will continue when Black Ops 4 launches in a few weeks.

PUBG has a shitload more players than even Fortnite and continues growing so "less and less relevant" doesn't make any sense. Black Ops 4, again, is a 60$ annual title with gameplay that is nothing like PUBG. PUBG will do fine and sell several millions on PS4 without issues.

Fortnite has more people playing on Xbox One and will continue to have more players on PS4 because it's free to play and plays better.
I guess you're too blind to realize that people aren't going to pay $30 for a game that runs like crap versus COD that is going to be the talk of the BR genre this Fall. Blackout simply runs too smoothly to play PUBG over it. PUBG will sell some copies but it is less relevant in the world already than what it was a year ago. That's not really up for debate.
Are you sure? Steamcharts says it's declining. From a peak of 3 million to just under a million now.
