Nintendo Switch Online: Cloud Save Supported Games

lol, it's just that a list of a 1000 indie games supporting cloud support is a bit much.
I knew this was coming, but, oof, still hurts. I hope nothing ever happens to my Switch and I lose my town. :(((
Even though that could change, that's obviously not going to. If they won't let you keep Pokémon or splatoon because they're scared of people trading stuff/rerolling random things, there's no way they allow AC which can have both problems.
It's bullshit and it should never have been an option for developers to choose.
Animal Crossing, a game people often put hundreds of hours into, won't have backups? Nintendo truly are the kings of stupid.

It's totally worth putting everyone who buys the games saves at risk, as they chose to advertise the benefits of cloud saves in the direct, otherwise some boogieman could just give away a blue table and then download the save to get it back. Totally worth it.
There's literally already like 8 games on there I own that support Cloud Save back up, for god's sake people.
Half of that list is wrong, and a lot of the titles that haven't released yet wouldn't be confirmed for having cloud saves until they get put on the eShop.
This is an easy way to create fodder for shitty blogs to now spread this false info throughout the internet.
many of those are wrong, just cause they are not out right listed as compatible =/= not cloud saving.

I'm really leaning towards keeping my Switch always offline and hacking it just to be able to have my saves comfortably backed up. I'm at that point now where every other system I have has a legitimate way for me to feel like my save files are secured and not being held ransom and I just can't support Nintendo for doing this. All of the games on the unsupported list are the sort of games I want to be able to keep safe. Please Nintendo, just give us local save backups and stop trying to sell a feature to push your paid online agenda when the feature in question isn't 100 percent supported by your game library!
You mean games recently announced with little info prepped and not out for a year and games that were already proven to have cloud save support anyways?
I was about to say wouldn't it be quicker to list the titles that didn't support it. Then I saw the list of noncompatible software. Holy fuck Nintendo.
I own like 8 titles from that incompatible list and they all got backed up in the cloud. Literally by me. Manually.
In fact a handful of other ones say they support cloud save in the actual eShop listing.
Okay so the list is wrong? And it seems fishy that FFXII wouldn't support cloud saves.
Literally the only thing this list went off of was Nintendo website listings for games not including text saying it supports Cloud Saves.
Little Dragon's Café does not say it supports cloud saving on its Nintendo listing.
It says so in its eShop listing.
It's still Nintendo's fault. Although I'll wait before I see the actual impact before panicking. If it's just a few games that's a mild annoyance. If my FF games don't work for no good reason then I'll be really annoyed.
Nintendo still has a share of the blame, no matter what. They made it a choice , likely because they didn't want people cloning theie magikarp, when it should have been mandatory for every single game in the system to support it.
