Remember how move was in development before Wii even existed? Remember how Eyetoy was a thing? Remember how Dualshock invented traditional analog\dual analog which every controller still uses to this day?, etc.

With a portable I would want an adapter more. Here, with a traditional console, I can just plug it in the TV's USB (mine has two) or other consoles.
Yes just like it. Don't think it's big enough for a disc. Maybe they can preload the original demos onto it or thru the PlayStation store.

Yup. I had to put mine at some weird angles. Usually upside down but with a few game boxes holding it higher up on one side.

I'm not angry about the PS1 Classic itself, I'm angry I can't purchase these games on PS4, when I know full well it is capable of emulating them, just like PS3, PSP, and Vita. This thing's existence proves it is not emulation or licensing issues getting in Sony's way with selling these games. They very clearly could release them on PS4, and are deliberately choosing not to. It's rotten.
This will be first time in a very very long time that i have to import an NTSC console. Game selection, 60Hz versions and non terrible translations are important here.

Man, they're going to release a second one of these consoles with analog sticks like a year after this one, and it will be 20 dollars more and come with another 20 games that are already PS one Classics and everyone will buy it and we will all be suckers.

I doubt a cheap mobile SoC is good enough to emulate PS2.

I would expect Silent Hill on this. It's iconic to PSX. Along with SotN and RE.
Kinda sad about it not having analog sticks. Would love to see Ape Escape again, but will be happy with a selection of Syphon Filter, Silent Hill, Tony Hawk 2, Castlevania, Worms and obviously Metal Gear Solid.
Nintendo didn't even do it first, SEGA were doing miniature Mega Drives with specific built in games about 15 years ago.
