It makes you wonder, "what if Toad, Mario and Peach are playable too?"
All their faces were "X"ed out, but Luigi is walking around.
I have a feeling they've each been captured, and you need to find and rescue all 3.

Luigi must've been saved by E.Gadd and the ghost dog.I have a feeling they've each been captured, and you need to find and rescue all 3.
Yeah they're most definitely all paintings at the start.I have a feeling they've each been captured, and you need to find and rescue all 3.
Comparing a game of 2001 in Game Cube with one of 2013 in 3DS and talking about '' production values '' seems completely absurd to meAgain, as I stated in my post that you quoted me in, I find Dark Moon to be the better game. However, I felt the production values of the original game to be much higher for a 2001 game comparatively to a 2013 game. I do not mean this as a detriment to Next Level games as I enjoy their games that they work on with Nintendo. I think Super Mario Strikers is one of the better, if not the best, Mario spinoff series. Punchout was also pretty enjoyable. I never played Federation Force. However, Next Level Games titles clearly do not have the same production values as Nintendo's internal projects like 3D Mario, Zelda, Metroid prime, Smash bros., etc. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 director said he considered the production value to be B level, not AAA. The game looks good and far superior to either of the previous games but the art direction and various models are clearly still derived from the 3DS title.
They made a sequel to Super Mario Strikers on Wii.
hahaha, this is fantastic. is Luigi's Mansion that good that it inspires this kind of devotion? I never played the 3DS games, but given the quality of weird titles like Captain Toad, I'm definitely interested.
Obviously it's good or we wouldn't be here.hahaha, this is fantastic. is Luigi's Mansion that good that it inspires this kind of devotion? I never played the 3DS games, but given the quality of weird titles like Captain Toad, I'm definitely interested.
Hell yeah man!putting this on my to-play list. i figured it was good, but 30 minutes devoted to 30 seconds implies a certain level of goodness not all games inspire!
I don't think the mail slots hint at the number of stages. The first stage alone is 5 floors with at least 7 rooms per floor. There are some concerns in the Youtube comments (yes, I do check them):
- The 5 x 7 grids on the shelves at the Reception Desk hints the entire game has 5 stages.
- The concern is that the game is linearly-structured, so you need to complete 1 stage to progress to the next stage. The last stage may be the 6th stage, or Stage 5,
- They worried it's not an open-world exploration (or open-building), which is you exploring to the top of the hotel and back down to the lower levels without anything blocking you from doing so.

I've created an almost full picture of the Hotel by combining two images of it:
Here are my thoughts:
I count about 7 tiers:
It looks like the 4th tier has a facade of a normal building, but the right side has been destroyed, revealing that inside are ancient egyptian ruins. I see 2 columns and the left side of a pyramid. It also has electricity swirling around it but I don't know if that's a feature of that tier or something happening to the whole hotel.
- Hotel
- Castle
- Museum
- Pyramid
- ??? Music Hall?
- Diner
- Zuul
Between tier 4 and 5 on the right side looks like a sign depicting a character or something. Looks like a ninji or something.
I dunno. Someone posted it in Discord. I think it came from Nintendo's Twitter.Oh wow where did that other image come from? The one without the letters obscuring the middle?
That's definitely a better analysis than mine though, looks pretty reasonable.
