My Galaxy Note 3 will be 5 years in a week and I still use it over 5 hours a day. I'm posting from it.
Yep, back in the 00s the 2 year upgrade plan made sense as things would rapidly change in significant ways. After Apple and Android dominated the smartphone market they really stopped trying to innovate. Innovation has been dead in the water for a number of years. I'd say the last significant smartphone releases was the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3.
How are you keeping that thing secure?
Cheers. Same here. 4-5 year upgrade cycle for me. Also rocking a 6S.
Really depends on that. I actually do game with mine a lot and some newer titles definitely struggle with old phones.I upgrade every 4-5 years and usually for free or $25. My phones run the same apps yours does.
Fair enough, gaming on mobile changes the dynamic a lot. I would need to upgrade more often I think.Really depends on that. I actually do game with mine a lot and some newer titles definitely struggle with old phones.
I used to always skip the iPhone "S" models until this year. Upgrading to the Xs Max from a X only because of the big screen.
Will keep the Xs Max for at least 2 years unless the 2019 iPhones have a brand new design or a must have feature.
But, yeah. snapchat isn't going to be vastly different on a newer phone. just a bit speedier.Fair enough, gaming on mobile changes the dynamic a lot. I would need to upgrade more often I think.
