Hau does show up in SM, just without his special theme and only as one of 10 possible refights
He's the first one that challenges you in SM after you beat the game, but the song there is from USUM where he's the final battle instead of Kukui.

I don't think there's any way for Ultimate to not include Lusamine's, Guzma's and Ultra Necrozma's themes. The only one I'm worried about is Zinnia's since she is from ORAS.

This is Incineroar's canon walking animation, & I trust Sakurai will make the right choice if Incineroar is playable.
Guzma was by far the best part of SuMo. Our Boy deserved to be a part of a BW-tier story.
Didn't Sakurai say that he is just letting composers decide which songs they want to remix? It's not really up to him.
At least with gen 5 they didn't waste any remixes on the boring ass standard battle themes. But it's kinda dumb that we got a medley of N-related songs but it didn't include N's actual battle theme. They did go back to gen 4 last game to do a remix of Cynthia's theme, so maybe they will give gen 5 the same treatment and we'll get Colress or Ghetsis or Iris.
Even if if it did &/or if N's Castle was the Wii U stage I doubt it would have gotten any of the ones I listed.
We didn't get vs Lysandre even though Greninja got in, for example, we got Team Flare. We didn't get vs Cyrus in Brawl, we got vs Galactic.
I'm not even asking for remixes, a direct rip like Vs Diantha would be just as cool in my book.

Really just the Rock Pikmin since the flying Pikmin were added to Olimar's moveset. The original Smash 4 plan for Alph (Olimar except with rock Pikmin instead of purple Pikmin) is really all they could do.
I don't know about characters, but the sandbelching meerslug would be a horrifying assist trophy
