Man, an option to switch game regions for this would make it so much neater. I've never even seen the Double Dragon jp cover art. Ugh.The Japanese Famicon interface looks slick as hell.
Seems to be working fine for me also but these games are a pain to play without a proper dpad for me.
It's within the app but it does have an activity log timer for each game. It doesn't list them on the software screen separately.

Nintendo did not announce matchmaking for these games. However, the lack of button remapping is a travesty.
I got in for long enough to buy the online subscription and then got the maintenance message when I tried to start the NES download about 10 minutes ago. Can't get back in now.

Yeah, my experience with online in Dr. Mario was solid as well. So far so good.
So, I downloaded the NES games in Europe and if I'm not mistaken, they all run at 60Hz, like they should. Mario 3 feels fast enough, at least, and the music has the right tempo.

Button remapping needs to be patched ASAP, like, tonight, along with full screen disabling those awful grey bars and button prompts.
I'd love a less aggressive filter like the monitor one from Mega Man Legacy Collection since the CRT is too much for me.

The NES controller didn't have B and A on a diagonal from each other.
Yeah this totally kills it for me, I was under the impression that the online functionality where with online randoms, not just people on your friends list.
This is already a disappointment.
Not an excuse. That's absolutely terrible. They announced a paid subscription service with a selling point that you can play NES games online and there's no matchmaking? Completely inexcusable.
I wish I knew when and how to order the NES controllers. Been looking everyone in case it's just well hidden

I didn't want virtual console for nes games, just wanted an affordable copy of path of radiance
You need ZL and ZR to open the suspend menu (switch games, save states and so on), so anyone hoping to use an 8bitdo controller without ZL and ZR are kind of boned. Unless you only want to play one game at a time and don't mind closing the whole thing down every time you want to switch.
My son has a different profile on our switch compared to my wife (so 3 profiles on our Switch). Do we need a family plan if both play splatoon? Or is this for different switches (like if wife had her own switch and son had his own?)

It's fucking 2018, one would think matchmaking would be there, that it wouldn't be restricted to just your friends list. I play online with my friends in every other game that has matchmaking.
Eh that's a really minor gripe I think. Unless you have tiny hands. I can still hold b to run and roll my thumb like I did with the traditional nes pad
