This isn't a feature you advertise, lolYet another MEGATON that somehow went through the advertisers heads...
What's wrong with Nintendo?
Nintendo now allows deactivating your primary console through a website! No longer need to call them
Only once per year you can do Off-device deactivations
- Off-device deactivations can be done by visiting accounts.nintendo.com, selecting "Shop Menu", and then "Deactivate Primary Console".
Now what if this is say, Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee? Will the save file transfer? Or will it be a whole new save for that family member to have and play?
Or is it not available at all for game share?
It's a support page, you don't advertise a support page...Yet another MEGATON that somehow went through the advertisers heads...

Could have at least noted it somewhere... lol
until they learn how to talk the joke's will continueA joke about how Nintendo is lagging behind in terms of internet? Very original and have never heard it before

You can't note this, because it requires rolling out the feature with the support pages at the same time. :/
Ok now here's the catch:
On secondary devices, only the profile of the buyer is able to access the games. Other profiles can't access them :/
And with cloud saves that means sharing the saves (unless it can be disabled in some way)

So if my brother buys I game, I can play it on my console if his user account is on my console as well?
Well, you can share your own saves with people who wanted to play your progress of your games. And to get access to your profile, of which you share, they would need you to consent to share your profile and sensitive information.Ok now here's the catch:

So you can do something like primary on my brother Switch and and does the same with mine.Ok now here's the catch:

... Whatever, having better communication channels with costumers is not something to be applauded, but coming from Nintendo it should still receive a mention other than just patch notes...You can't note this, because it requires rolling out the feature with the support pages at the same time. :/
It's a standard policy.
True... It could go either way.... Whatever, having better communication channels with costumers is not something to be applauded, but coming from Nintendo it should still receive a mention other than just patch notes...
My password: hunter2Someone give me their account information so I can try this out
But games with multiple save slots within it....?!Ok now here's the catch:

They did--in the support documentation for people who might be looking for how to do this.
Yeah but good news is there have been plenty of megatons recentlyKind of sad that this is like megaton for Nintendo, but welcome none the less.
Ain't nobody got time to read dat, when massive backlashes were going on.They did--in the support documentation for people who might be looking for how to do this.

- While using a non-primary console, downloadable content can only be started by the user that purchased the content.
Not as far as I can tell. Trying to deactivate a PS3 or PSP through the website just takes me to instructions on how to do it from my console. :/

Trolltendo.Announce the online service - with underwhelming features - to millions via Nintendo Direct/social media, to the scorn of many. Stealth drop features that people are actually excited about...
'Wii U marketing team' came back from vacation?
Read my other posts... I know it's not a Megaton by casual standards, but still...You have a weird definition of megaton. A lot of the online stuff are people in a bubble arguing with each other. The casual Switch owners I know are in mostly for the cloud saves and the low price. The minutiae doesn't matter. This is good news nonetheless.
I suspect we'll be sitting here in March 2019 looking at their online subs and people wondering why the 'negative' reaction didn't matter.
Yes. That's the ideaCan the same device be set as a primary for my own account and as a sub for a friend's account at the same time?
Cool thanks!. Just double checking because Nintendo haha.
