I don't have it yet, and all my friends are pressuring me to get it lol. I'd get it, but I'm trying to save some money for a bunch of things that come out in the coming months orz.
That's a weird take ....Capcom did everything to make MHGU look like an afterthought when launchin it a year too late and the month of the MHW PC release - yet it still sold.
To Mat, Benji, Aqua, do we know if Fortnite is still a major contributor increased hardware sales for the big 3 or has it cooled off a bit?
In edition, would you expect the share of Pro and X1X units to increase towards the back end of the year or do you think holidays will mainly just be driven by discounting of original hardware?

No it wasn't. Last I heard there was supply shortages during August. It's possible that was only Japan though.

Also very surprised MHGenerations charted in the top 20. Really impressive result's for Capcom, also the Madden rush up the 2018 chart is amazing

One thing that surprised me last month was Crash ranking higher on Xbox than on Switch. That seems to have continued.
From the leaks the numbers so close that maybe PS4 could have won without Pro shortages.
The thing I am most impressed is that the PS4 is still posting (it seems) YoY increase even after almost 5 years in the market. And something tells me next month will be big too.
Plus Hollow Knight had a big discount so it seems to have done damn well then. Lol

The Neon Red/Blue Switch is the best selling SKU of the year. It has sold more than the Gray Switch and the various PS4 Slim Pro bundles separately. But when you combined the SKUs, the PS4 is the best seller overall.

Why maybe. I think hardware sales due to Spiderman were driven by casual gamers who are much less likely to preorder or buy a console in advance of said game

Revenue. But keep in mind Octopath according to Aqua had around an 80% drop so that was probably 40k~.
I'm thinking in my opinion it did around 70k without digital.
Siege's resurrection has got to be one of the craziest underdog stories in all of gaming. Who would have thought that a game that got dinged so hard early on for its lack of content would wind up being an eSports phenomenon and leave most of its competition in the dust back when it first came out?
No real price drops either. The thing is going to find a whole new audience when Sony finally decides to lower the price of the PS4 Slim.

I just checked. The PS4 Slim is still $299 without any game bundled. What in the hell? You are right. Once it reaches the less than $200 (BF I am guessing), a new whole audiciece will be open
I believe next year will see Madden release on Switch, as it feels like a missed opportunity with the HW sales. Switch is designed to sell well during summer.
