These days I go with Link, in past games I have used Yoshi, and Koopa Troopa. Feels like a theme going on there.......

Waluigi love is a meme love. Ask about him directly and people will give him violent support. Ask an open question where he could be an option and he gets way less popular.
As for the topic, Dry Bones all day.
Toad used to be my guy back on Mario Kart Wii, but I mained Red Yoshi when MK8D came out. Then the other day, I started finishing up the Mirrored cups and figured out that Gold Mario is my new main.
Usually main Bowser Jr but sometimes play Shy Guy and Dry Bones.
I guess I like small cute bad guys.

Definetely Toad and Yoshi from the N64. Now there's so many chars in MK8,I guess I'll go with Shy Guy
By weight
Light weight: Hard to say, I play a lot of light weights. Tied between Toad, Shy Guy and Baby Luigi.
Medium weight: Yoshi or Luigi, Mario sometimes, Ludwig if I'm feeling saucy (best Koopaling, don't @ me)
Heavy weight: Bowser in the sheets, Waluigi in the streets
Out of all those? If I had to choose, it would be a light weight. If I had to choose out of all of them, I would choose Shy Guy, primarily due to the fact that I can change his colour. Yoshi is a close second for the same reason, but also because he usually has some balanced stats.

I use Mario in everything; however, in Mario Kart, I've quickly grown to love Rosalina. She's practically my main now, but I still use Mario to maintain my character loyalty. I just love Rosalina's expressions in MK8 in particular. "TA-DA!" as she twirls around above her kart.
My favorite racer who's missing in action is R.O.B. Such a treat to have had him in Mario Kart DS that I didn't even realize it back then and barely used him. You never know how much you miss something until it's gone.
