Now, the leaker is claiming the source of this information is the game itself, and not some connection to the development team, or the company that makes the character trailers, but the game. Which... to me, says this would have to be someone literally on the Nintendo Treehouse staff and I just can't imagine that would actually happen. But if we got everything in this list, I think I would be pretty satisfied. I think Dixie seems weird as an assist trophy but that's about it. I'm also expecting DLC after the game launches.

That's like Incineroar and the ballot extravaganza. I wish we were getting that amount of characters but I doubt we'll get that particular group.


Dixie as an AT would be a bummer, and I doubt Shantae has earned that spot yet, but I could see the Steve AT and minecraft stage, and I could see Isaac and Banjo making it along with Ken and Shadow.

All in all I call super fake, but will probably see a couple of things from this actually make it into the game.

Don't let the hostility drive you away from the conversation, the ballot was filled by fans of the game,and we're all just trying to have fun.

I wish we got another serious leak soon to start the hype train again.

tbqh I've hated the way Ridley looks in Smash since his reveal, thanks to this new design I may actually use him.

Do alts have different colors? Imagine Meta in SNES red.

Those character renders make me think we'll get a rerelease of Smash a year from now with a smal! artbook included like they did with Splatoon and BOTW.

This game screams for a Dark Horse giant sized Hyrule Historia/Arts & artifacts/The World of Smash Bros kind of book and I'd be so all over that.

Licencing issues would be legendary though.

I want everyone to have 16 alts. Give male Pikachu 6 hats and Detective Pikachu and give female Pikachu 6 hats and Pikachu Libre. Bring all Mario's colors back plus 8 different Odyssey costumes, one of them being the clown suit!

Minecraft Steve won't be an assist trophy when Creeper is a much better pick.

Only if Lucina gets at least one alt that is an atrocious-looking dress.

Be true to her character, Sakurai. Highlight Lucina's abysmal fashion sense.

I have a feeling we aren't seeing a new DK game for a long time anyways since Nintendo needs to find a new dev team to handle it. So yeah, I have my doubts Dixie would be a character that Smash would care about adding as DLC.

Why do all of these leaks revolve around heavily discussed characters and stages? Is that not a giveaway for people that all of this is bullshit?

Like here's a brand new leak, and whoa, it's everything everybody wants! How cool! Get hyped!

Those outfits are technically just texture mods rather than new models like Little Mac's wireframe palette. If we consider all the outfits that are not simple recolours this pack is missing quite a lot. I wouldn't worry about it.

ZSS' outfits not being shown with this batch doesn't necessarily mean anything.There's alts we know are in the game but not in the press kit and the only alt we didn't know about in here is one I bet was planned to be talked about in tandem with Crafted World.

That's why I think its false but to be honest Sakurai flat out stated that he added content due to fan requests and ballot results.

People were denying Ridley and K. Rool Rool before they were announced and dismissed them as forum user wishlists using this same argument.

I think the leak is false, but I'm sure we'll get some of the things mentioned here.

I like that some characters have different costumes. I know it's not new to Smash Bros but it's great to see it expand to other characters.

He hates any leak involving Isaac lol. If it were Jenna instead of Felix, maybe he'd not be so harsh on it.

Truly though, this leak is delivering on dreams.

If that leak were true I would literally have no qualms whatsoever with the roster. I mean I barely do as it is, but still, what a final five those would be.

So yeah it's gotta be fake because life is too cruel.

Man, Meta Ridley looks so good. Never want really hot on the faded, chitinous look his default design has - he looks a bit more traditional there, even with the cybernetics. The more vibrant purple helps.

Now if we get that as an amiibo... oh yeah.
