I can recall a few more recent moments of experiencing the Tetris Effect.
I walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of water after a long PUBG session. I saw a prescription pill bottle on the counter and immediately got excited because I'd been looking for painkillers in-game the past few hours.
Another experience is that since I'm so used to breaking down trees for materials in Fortnite, I've now experienced a strong urge to chop down trees in several different games including PUBG, Breath of the Wild, and most recently in the Blackout Beta. I'm not sure if this example counts as a Tetris Effect since it's happening to me in different games and not IRL. I just figured it was worth sharing since it shows my brain has been so trained by one game's mechanics that I've carried it on to other games.
