"The video is about running away from your fears, the longer you run away from them the greater they become until you reach to a point from where you can no longer run as if there is no land left for you to run on and there it is your greatest fears stood there right in front of you, and then you realize that these fears are just an illusion and that you confront them head on and then they are frighten of you at the moment you start chasing them."
My all time favorite is the Without you trilogy from Guns N Roses "Don't Cry"/"November Rain"/"Estranged"
It's abstract
It's art unless you read the short story you can't follow it
they released them out of order
They were stupid expensive at the time
"November Rain" always gets the love
But Estranged is my favorite video
Slash playing on the sunset strip on a moving platform Axl rides a dolphin after jumping off an air craft carrier
The greatest music video of all time
the biggest star of mid 80's action television
I always giggle at the beginning of the intro
This was a movie that never got made
So it's total nonsense
Cinnamon Chasers - Luv Deluxe, a great "what if" music video told from the first person perspective about a guy running into a woman and three timelines of how things might play out depending on the choices they make.
Another great first person perspective music video, the guys behind this are the ones that went on to make Hardcore Henry thanks in large to this music video and the interest it generated.

Kenna - Hell Bent, this music video is one of my all time favorites. The music video uses the short-film "More" by Mark Osborne (who went on to make the Spongebob movie and Kung Fu Panda), which is a great short film in of itself that is scored by New Order's Elegia. However this music video with Kenna's Hell Bent is great too and it's how many people know about the short and where they saw it first.
I like to imagine that Andrew W.K is still out there, running into the night with a disconnected microphone screaming about how beautiful this girl is to nobody at all between appearing at Bethesda press briefings.
I know a couple different Radiohead vids had been mentioned already but goddamn it if Pyramid Song by them isn't fantastic.
I remember watching it as a youngster and being drawn in despite not necessary liking the song since I thought it was slow and boring (it's one of my favorite songs of all time now, don't worry). Probably because of the neato computer graphics.
It took me a couple views back then to figure out what happens at the end (did I mention I wasn't very bright? It's incredibly obvious) but when it did it just clicked and the song took on a whole new meaning. Beautiful.
Anyways give it a watch/listen if you're feel like it...
You gotta put one of the GOATs up there. MJ was the coolest dude in the world when I was a kid.
Hell, you can put all of Discovery's MV on there. I still remember watching The Midnight Run special on Toonami with Daft Punk, Gorillaz, and others. Sweet memories right there.
