Yeah, separate save file. I completely cheesed the amiibo, lol. After I got one item from every one I just changed the date of my Switch to the following day so I could do it again. Thankfully I got 3/4 of the Divine Helms on my first try, which was really weird.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 had something like that.
Anyway, almost done with Master Mode and Normal Mode (again), just need to upgrade these on both and get some Korok Seeds on Master Mode.
There's some clothes you need, which you can get from a sidequest in Gerudo Town.
Yay! A BotW OT!
What are you guys expecting or hoping for in The Champions' Ballad?
I think this is a good chance for the Zelda team to, although the game was met with almost unanimous praise, address some of the fans' critiques. Hopefully the new dungeon is big, like Hyrule Castle, and the game gets a couple more meaningful sidequests like the Tarrey Town one. Also hoping for some good new music, and fleshing out of the characters.
I feel like the Zelda team doesn't get recognized enough for listening to fans. Twilight Princess being a lot like Ocarina, Twilight Princess' art style, Majora's Mask 3D simply existing, and BotW being very open world all resulted from listening to fan feedback. Hopefully they continue to do so with the upcoming expansion pack. I'm pretty sure Aonuma said sometime in the summer that the DLC gives them a chance to address criticisms, but can't remember where he said this.

As for a story I kind of assumed it would be set in the past? Since the champions seem to be an integral part of it. Was it ever confirmed that it would be set after the game ends? My memory is fuzzy on that.
Aonuma confirmed it was after Ganon's defeat at the Paris Japan Expo. That doesn't preclude more memories (and if I had to bet I'd say that's how they're implemented) but it's postgame.
I like that your spoiler tagged a concert. I also like that you made me think of that song, which is one of the two video game music pieces alongside FFVI's Terra's theme that I get really emotional about.Saw Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses last night. Really recommend it to anyone who gets the chance.
There was a lot of nice BotW music in there, along with an amazing orchestrated version ofThe Ballad of the Wind Fish.
After the recent update twice during rain when I am floating around from a high place Link just freezes in the sky. Thought the game froze at first but it was still raining and I put my glider up and back out and it went back to normal. Never happened before but twice in one night. Anyone else experience anything similar?
I do not fuck with the motion shrines, one of the few puzzles I just do not care at all to do.Fuck the Myahm Agana Shrine! The physics and motion controls just do not work together.
I finally got it after like an hour.
Did you try just flipping the panel upside down and swinging the ball that way? I had it in a minute after being curious if the bottom side of the panel had a maze on it or not.Fuck the Myahm Agana Shrine! The physics and motion controls just do not work together.

You're not, my brother had difficulty with it too and he had to retry a couple of times as well.It took me over an hour retrying the Yiga Clan hideout. I'm sure I'm not alone...right. And defeated the leader! No sweat.
I'm not sure what to expect, but I do agree that the Zelda team listens and uses fan feedback frequently. Nearly every game since Twilight Princess has been in response to some portion of Zelda fans. With that in mind I wonder if the feedback to BotW has resulted in Champions' Ballad growing into something larger than what the team originally envisioned. If we don't hear anything about it the rest of the year maybe it will be something like an expansion.Yay! A BotW OT!

Second Devine Beast complete.Vah Naboris
Completing this Devine Beast can be a bit tough sometimes. I had to use video when I got stuck in one part. How does every else fare?
Not sure if this is real or fake: anyone have the explorer edition?
http://www.zeldainformer.com/breath-of-the-wilds-explorers-edition-possibly-suggests-future-dlc/
interesting to note regarding the Explorer's Edition, however, is that HMK, a popular Zeldatheorist, recently found a quote from the explorer's guide stating "…Consider purchasing the expansion pass, which includes the first two DLC packs." on page 94.
More DLC on the way?

Oh wow. I both love this idea and don't like it.Not sure if this is real or fake: anyone have the explorer edition?

Finally got my.Master Sword
I want to finish the main story before my interest wears out. Without (or as little) spoils, can I kill Ganon and continue finishing out the map? What does NG+ offer?
I saw it on Friday and it was absolutely amazing!Saw Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses last night. Really recommend it to anyone who gets the chance.

About the DLC: can you give us the source of the post-ending news?
I don't remember Aonuma saying anything about it, and I've seen the whole event.
The statement was made in this Eurogamer article. It looks like Aonuma himself didn't say anything so I guess the author is inferring from the embedded video which does show Zelda passing by an active shrine and also meeting Riju.
Today (just an hour or so ago) I learned on another thread that shadows from clouds or structures help you keep your temperature low when you are in the desert.
Like, I kid you not I've played this game for 260+ hours and I truly did not know that.
