There's a car stuck in the background, can see the flashers. Looks like someone pulled up to it and rescued the person.
Plus the chasers are going to have likely high water zones planned out. Jeff said he spent two days talking to local officials and checking topography before this.
He's live streaming and keeping the stream going due to donations. At then end of the day, a majority of this is for entertainment purposes.
Enjoy it as much as you can without feeling bad, they all made these decisions, especially with his history of experience.
Don't know where they went but ever since they got to that bridge the stream has just been eerie for some reason.

My folks and I prepared a box full of donations to send in the next few days, canned food, clothes, toiletries, etc. Anybody know of any charities in the carolinas worth looking into? I know places like the Salvation Army and the like are patronizing and pocket lots of the money. Wanna make sure whoever we donate to gives it all to people who need it.
The red cross was HORRIBLE in Houston. Bunch of uppity, selective assholes. My parents place was one of the very hardest hit by Harvey, the Red Cross didn't help for shit. They came out ONE DAY and provided the worst meal I have ever had. The local girl scouts did way, way more than the Red Cross. My parents lost basically everything in the flood, and were told that they weren't "high priority enough" to receive help from the Red Cross, despite the rest of houston being unflooded for a week while my parents place was still underwater. I will never deal with them again. I don't want to deal with outlets like those. I want to donate directly to a local charity.
