Isabelle (Animal Crossing) announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

They did say in the Direct that the bundle was coming in on November 2nd.

No. It comes with the digital game that won't start downloading until near the release.
Isabelle is a no-brainer given her popularity and I'm glad animal crossing has another rep.
The code doesn't activate until release.
It says on the box, "Game will not be playable until its official release date"
Hoping for a Lottie echo fighter (or maybe Lottie taking Isabelle's place as an assist trophy) but I'm not holding my breath.

Really glad Isabelle is in and Animal Crossing, in general, has been getting so much love. Pocket Camp, Smash, and a new game. I haven't even played any of the series, but it's nice to see such a laid back game series get so much play.

Nah she's a unique fighter. After K-Rool on the fighter list.
So sort of like a Falco or Dr Mario type.
She's a semi-clone, but she has a lot of unique stuff, and she has her own number on the site.

This was the first character announcement that I don't feel any hype for. It's like, ok, she's a character that exists, but other people wanted her. Felt a little out of left field to me.
I mean, she's not an Echo Fighter... but she still shares a lot of similarities with the Villager, even the Final Smash?

I mean, it's not really confusing at all and I don't know why everyone makes it out to be rocket science.
Echo Fighters have such minor differences that their general playstyles are effectively fully interchangeable. Isabelle, while similar and sharing some moves, is still clearly substantially different.
Tom Nook was already shown to still be a part of Villager's Final Smash.
And Daisy and Dark Samus couldn't be semi-clones....smh.
I love Isabelle but this is clear favouritsm. She seems to have started off as an echo fighter with most of the same stuff as Villager, but then she got so unique that she needed full newcomer balancing and resources.
